Leadoff double and you can't get the guy in....I thought only the Brewers did that? That is brutal.
  2. BrewCityUnit
Does anyone think the Twins are going to score?
  3. BrewCityUnit
Glad to see Ned Yost just quit managing.... This is ridiculous. Nix and Jenkins have no business hitting against a lefty in this situation. Why carry 6 outfileders if 3 are going to rot on the bench.
  4. BrewCityUnit
Outside of Bell, that lineup isn't that horrible. Common Brett.....the guy won us the game yesterday. Mark my words, Taco Bell will lead us to a playoff spot this year. I like the line-up tonight....I just don't get why you publically benched Jenkins and then all of a sudden started him. They should have just told Geoff he was sitting for a while instead of making the whole thing public because if he ever did get a start at some point, it would look pretty silly...like tonight. That being said, I don't mind seeing him in there, he should be playing 2 days a week or 3 at most.
  5. BrewCityUnit
Just so everyone knows...Mr Geoff Jenkins is in the starting line-up tonight. Hart is leading off Hart Graf Prince Gross Hall Jenkins Bell Miller Sheets
  6. BrewCityUnit
Funny how when the team wins, the thread is only 4 pages long...but when they lose, everyone is ready to chip in with what is wrong with this team.
  7. BrewCityUnit
I'm just giving you crap Brett....That double played killed us....I still like his glove though. When Bell leads us to the wild card this year, hopefully Brewer nation will support him.
  8. BrewCityUnit
Hey Brett doesn't David Bell have a double and triple tonight. What is his OPS for the game tonight? I thought you were a big fan of OPS?
  9. BrewCityUnit
Man, do I love David "Taco" Bell......nice triple. He should really come up to the plate the next time at Miller Park and have the "Saved by the Bell" song as his signature song.
  10. BrewCityUnit
Wow...Jenkins is on fire...Yost sure does know what he is doing. Am I dreaming?
  11. BrewCityUnit
Kevin Mench is tough to watch....atleast he won us one game this year.
  12. BrewCityUnit
Brian's sarcastic response was uncalled for in my opinion. What did I do wrong in this thread. Why can't I think the Bell acquistion is pivotal for this team's success. What is the big deal?
  13. BrewCityUnit
Obviously, we all believe you, and don't think your thread was an attempt to do anything but proclaim your praise for the acquisition of David Bell. You've never shown anything before that would have us brand you as being disingenous, and we thank you for your straightforwardness and patronage. I don't understand this comment. I love the David Bell acquisition. I thought it would be fun to have an official David Bell/Wildcard thread....I don't see the problem in that at all. We are 2-0 since we acquired him and I am excited. Although the news didn't make a big splash with the national coverage...I think it was huge.
  14. BrewCityUnit
I understand that...but my intention of that thread was to add to it as we make our push towards the wildcard lead.
  15. BrewCityUnit
Why did that thread get locked? I wasn't venting or anything...I really think he will be the key factor to us making a playoff run and I think that in itself deserves it's own thread. I wasn't discussing the trade or anything like that...it was a new topic...David Bell helping us make the postseason. Can you please unlock it? I didn't know that we could only have one thread per player.
  16. BrewCityUnit
Mark Prior has been scratched today
  17. BrewCityUnit
No Brady is not dead, Yost is actually managing.
  18. BrewCityUnit
Can Jeff Cirillo really play short stop....this is getting interesting.
  19. BrewCityUnit
No Jenkins in the line-up tonight as Gross gets the start and Jeff Cirillo is starting at shortstop.
  20. BrewCityUnit
Teams win games with talent, not attitude Sure they do, because we can't design a statistical table or do any statistical analysis on attitude, right Rluz. Give me a break, you need both to be successful.
  21. BrewCityUnit
Two of those attacks were against me.....and the other one was me defending myself. I am done with this topic...thank you Mike for saying everything exactly the way I want to say it.....because we both can see what is really happening with the whole Branyan topic.
  22. BrewCityUnit
    What were those personal attacks?
  23. BrewCityUnit
Are you guys being serious...... Mothershipconnection....what is wrong? I was just curious to see who had a higher career OPS and Brian politely gave me the answer. I guess I can never ask a question since I will be accused of trying to stir the pot.
  24. BrewCityUnit
Brian (or anyone else for that matter), what website is your favorite to find up to date career statistics?
  25. BrewCityUnit
Just a question, who has a better career OPS....Koskie or Branyan?
