  1. i would guess they have your cc number and there is probably some terms that you have to agree to when you make the deposit.
  2. was it possible you were not logged in to yuku? i noticed the same thing the other night, then realized that i was not logged in just a thought
  3. i think i am going with "making it rain" in honor of pac-man jones
  4. i would bet that wilson park field #1 (next to the stadium field) would be available on weekend afternoons. 414.257.8005 if you want to pay the rental fee. it is a pretty nice field.
  5. how do they plan on delivering these things? sounds like an e-bay ripoff shipping rate to me. isnt it only one mailing? or would they mail each series separately after advancing?
  6. this is still done somehow. my wife teaches second graders and they have some sort of program where they give out free vouchers to great america. and the parachute definitely rocked
  7. i too just recently bought this on itunes...good stuff.
  8. i have some friends who were married last weekend in st lucia for their honeymoon. not sure what they did since it just barreled through there.
  9. www.virtualapple.org
  10. i wouldnt worry about it all that much. i taught the past three years and if you google my name, the first thing that comes up is my phone number. i guess it comes with coaching as well. i actually had a couple kids asking if that was me on BF.net. i would just worry more about what you are posting.
  11. I think the entire organization has been struggling to keep up with the increased interest in the team this year. there was the concessions problems earlier in the year...those seem to be better the parking lot situation was pretty rough for the first couple of series i had some problems with securing tickets for opening day (have had a group of 25-40 going every year since about '99). i also got the same "i am not a big enough customer" vibe from the ticket office as well...even though i was a full season ticket holder this year...couldnt afford it this year though. the bobblehead thing is ridiculous. they went way overboard on it IMO the ushers and event staff seem to be overwhelmed on busy days...though i do agree that the supervisors on each level get the job done...as do the field security. hopefully they are taking suggestions and learning from their mistakes
  12. milwaukee is within an hour or two of green bay/appleton http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=642525 (i will figure out the new link format eventually)
  13. check the "recreation notes" in the back of the sunday journal sentinel...usually on the same page or opposite the scorecard page. they usually have a few tournaments listed each sunday EDIT: found it online LINK
  14. thankfully there are no day games during the week in september after labor day. it was definitely weird talking to a friend today about going to the games in the next homestand. we were discussing having to worry about getting tickets soon before a sellout...pretty cool!
  15. what a great game. it was my daughter's first (of many i am sure) game. it was unreal the number of badger fans that were there. that gym is also unreal.
  16. there is a little discussion of the japanese play here: p092.ezboard.com/fbrewers...7517.topic as for the wild pitch...unreal.
  17. that is only because a better one was built for the olympics in salt lake...it does still get some use and does hold some world cup events. i know what you are saying though. the hockey bug just kind of died here for whatever reason. about 15 years ago the admirals were drawing 10,000+ pretty regularly. that was probably because people wanted the NHL team, which would have been a disaster. as for the rest, i think i agree. there are only so many dollars to go around.
  18. isnt this the same argument as the doug eddings / aj pierzynski play in the playoffs a couple years ago? EDIT: after watching the play yet again, it seemed like the umpire asked for help on the swing, then confirmed that the batter swung. it also does not look like the batter ever left the dirt...but may have came darn close.
  19. i see #94 brings yet another permutation into the ever-going debate...
  20. and i have both on a fantasy team. 4 saves from 2 pitchers in 1 night...it was pretty cool.
  21. makes you wonder if he taught an online class or taught with an alias or something. joe bartolotta was on the channel 4 morning show this morning and commented on how the picture in the paper was the first look he ever got at getto...though they had talked on the telephone numerous times each year.
  22. http://graphics.jsonline.com/graphics/multimedia/media/jul07/x1dennis724.jpg somewhat what i would have expected. i wonder how long the JS has had that picture waiting for him to retire, or in this case die. and now waiters and waitresses throughout milwaukee are kicking themselves because they just realized they were the person he may have been talking about in an article.
  23. maybe he can be the subject of the next "google can't save you"
  24. after watching the replay a couple times, i think it may have been to give the first baseman time to return to the base...but both are plausible explanations.
