  1. when i last had TW in october, their "HD package" consisted of 3 channels. they wanted me to pay $8 or $10 a month for those 3 channels. i got it "free" for like 6 months after getting HD added. when uverse beat their total by $30 and TW offered me $10 off at the best, i left
  2. why have a reserve if you are going to advertise it? ebay makes you pay for the reserve, but they also make you pay more for a higher starting price. i assume the reserve costs less than starting it at $200? i have never used reserves on ebay so i dont know the cost
  3. ate at fridays the other night. i noticed something hanging below the facade below the metavante club, but i couldnt remember what was there in the past. could only see the back side though since the rest of the stadium is gated off.
  4. i dont think this will be the case. there was a quote from a rep the other day saying that the schedule was not set yet. this translates to: we cant follow through on what we said last year and are still crafting how to convey this to the customers
  5. badger women up 5-0 late on the 3rd period.
  6. it is alot easier to hold a guy out of a spring training workout or game than a regular season game. it is probably stuff they normally play through, but dont need to in the preseason.
  7. 4 tickets for each game available. Section 425 - Row 16 on an aisle. I really want to keep them away from Cubs fans. $50 for all 4 (per game). temke@yahoo.com or PM. EDIT: tickets tentatively sold...thanks!
  8. BTW...i got my full season tickets in the mail today. lets play ball
  9. i have had my beefs with the brewers ticket office in the past, but i think they delivered what they promised. they guaranteed you 2 tickets if you ordered before the deadline. they gave you the choice of 3 ticket levels, but said on the form that locations are not guaranteed. the only thing i think they dropped the ball on was not telling people in advance that the tickets would be filled in the order they were received. also, obstructed view seats are generally not that bad...especially in the lower rows. my season location last year was never advertised as obstructed, but when i got my playoff tickets (same seats) the aisle seat was deemed obstructed. it consisted of one bar that got in the way of the plate if you sat in a specific manner. they arent like that seat next to the wall at county stadium http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  10. i got my 2 extras for opening day in the mail today FWIW
  11. same for me
  12. that would be like having a "brewers board" and a "rest of MLB" board. i have nearly a month of posts on my first page on the trading post...so its not like things are getting buried on the second page quickly. with proper descriptions, it is easy to sort through all the posts.
  13. this seems true...leff's was discussing a second game thing, but i dont know if it materialized. i have been reduced from 50 tickets in 2007 to 6 this year (4 season tickets plus the 2 extras allowed) http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  14. cub fans are the first thing i thought of when i read this
  15. there was a little talk in the IGT about him...feel free to lock if you want to keep the talk there...but i think that people will want to add as they hear him for the first time this spring though. i think he is fine. it was nice to hear him laughing at uecker in the background. he is the anti-uecker in terms of giving the score during the inning...which is also nice. the only thing that stuck out with me is he referred to the base as a "cushion" many times. i am sure it will grow on me, but it isnt something i am used to hearing.
  16. this totally reminds me of a craigslist missed connection http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  17. if you are selling opening day tickets for $5 over face, i will take them! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  18. the badgers were due for a loss like that against MSU. they have stole a couple from them in recent years, including a 10 point comeback in 2 minutes and last year's BTT game where they were basically out of it in the second half. i really want to see them play in the BTT again. losing to MSU leaves a bitter taste in my mouth
  19. into day #2...and this espresso maker is a killer
  20. the expression of theriot in the background is pretty neat, too.
  21. and us milwaukee folk cant forget the fantastic $20 city fee above and beyond all the other fees! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  22. the logo on the plate takes up at least one character...if not 2.
  23. isnt it about time to put the old logo to rest? great idea though
  24. i was told early last week that they hadnt started fishing through opening day requests yet. i think the lottery is open through this week.
