    I just think its odd thats Sheet's name hasnt come up in ANY mlb rumors that I've read (ok, other than the Oswald wants him on the Astros). I wonder why. Is it just that his agent is avoiding the press or avoiding "negotiating through the press".

    Loge for sure. I had both the first season in Miller and kept the Loge (and added Club). Lower level outfield just dont seem worth the price. It was a strange angle on the left field side, too....

    Yehhh....Years ago I lived in the same condo building as dean taylor...........and got to hear him on his cell with an assistant talking about a potential deal they were doing with cincinatti, trading Alex Ochoa. Taylor said he had tried to get Jason LaRue, but was unsuccessful. I was thrilled about the eavesdropping!

    I dont get the 4 year vs 6 year deal thing. I mean, is it a given that the 5th and 6th years wont be "worth it"? If its about not affording CC in 5 years because of other players hitting free agency...who said he cant be traded to the Dodgers or Yankees, Mets etc after 4 seasons? Offer him the 6 years 140, and trade him when you cant afford him anymore. There are obviously teams out there that will be able to pay him then, too.

    And "un-retire" Fingers' #34 too.............ok, somewhat off topic, but in the same area of the stadium. I really dont get why his number was retired anyway. Because he won an MVP and Cy Young here? Because hes in the hall of fame? Not enough years in Brewers blue for me....

    I cant even get myself to speculate on compensation or dream about Peavy in the rotation until I hear that Melvin has given an indication that he would make an offer. We dont have to be "front-runners" like in the CC trade....just more than one of the other 29 that might match up.

    No way would Ned of Dale have pinch hit for Gross in the bottom of the 5th. Zorbrist made an out, but at least the manager doesnt have blind faith in guys that are 0 for 10.

    I thought I wanted the Phils to win......so we were beat by the best. I cant though. The fans there were just jerks (Not all, just too many)

    I hope its someone other than Svuem. He made 2 "fatal errors" in 16 games. One is not executing a winning game plan in playoff Game 1. I dont care if it was Kendall or CC's idea to throw off speed pitches to Brett Myers, but someone should have put an end to it (maybe even Maddux) before that costly walk to a pitcher that doesnt hit well. And of course starting Suppan in game 4 didnt work so well. Not to mention the poor production from his leadoff hitter (granted no one..but Hardy.. hit well).

    Will be there tonight again. Section 111, row 8. We did encounter some nasty phillies fans, but most were nice. My picture made the Journal website, hopefully the paper!

    I'm sure the Brewers organization had nothing to do with it. They are happy to appease Cub fans. On the last homestand Cub apparel was being sold in the fan zone. And isn't it nice,,,,,,,,that if Cub fans want to buy ice cream at the concession stand....they can have it in a Cub helmet. Give me a break!

    How about Sunday's or Mable Murphys. (Both Scottsdale Packer Bars) There should be some brewers fans there! I will be at all the games, though........(Movin to Scottsdale...Someday)

    Hopefully not that awful song ......dont know the name of it or the guy that sings it.........but they kept showing the guy on the Summerfest FSN set when doing the pre and post game shows. I was just thinking of "Come see Whats Brewin" and "Brewers Brewers keep turnin up the heat" today.

    I just want this to be overwith! I can't image the dissapointment I will feel tomorrow if they lose. (Although I got a taste of it today). I would have liked a doubleheader today starting as soon as possible after todays game. I thank everyone on this website for the emotional comfort I have gained this year in each of the stinging losses that put us where we are today (having to win the last game, instead of clinching long ago).
