Brewers could have played him all year at DH last year, have him play 100 points worse with OPS than he did in 2022, and still outplay their sad production. Happy he is still playing and I expect he'll get more opportunities with DH league wide and hitters more scarce.
Ha! I’m just giving you what was asked and how Murphy responded….Murphy then abruptly turned and said, “Next question.”
Surprised he was up throwing 8th because of that , but options were limited.
Murphy shot dart eyes at reporter questioning him in post game last night when asked if thought crossed his mind to throw Megil in 8th. Murphy just asked back something like, “When did he throw last?” I doubt it’s Megill.
Will there still be a semblance of parking attendance? Gotta be.
Will there still be several issues….seen and not foreseen with the new parking system? Absolutely. And backups are still going to happen for other reasons for years to come with construction on 94 too…that problem will be fresh next fall.
I’m not sure this whole fiasco is worth the cost and effort when those two questions can be easily answered. It’s solving a problem kinda while creating several other ones of varying degree.
Our bullpen has never been deeper. Ever. Keeping some of these guys down in minors or IL…..wow. What depth. Elvis ERA 3.00, Milner, The Miz, Hall, Peredes, Yoho. Simply amazing.
