  1. Oh, he will be missed…friendliest guy. Great usher, took his job seriously. Fist bumps often on greeting and leaving. Hope to see him around the ballpark again someday….maybe sitting in his old sections.
  2. Glad we don’t have that contract for any length of time and of course his best numbers are behind him, offense and especially defense.
  3. Answering my own question…2008 they were around 33,000 a night in April/ May. Weekend crowds were sellouts or close.
  4. Chourio is the guy and he is arguably hitting better than last year at this time….wasnt he like around .210 at end of May last year. After that he was one of the top 10 hitters in the game. It’s spring. Brewers don’t avg 30,000 a night then. Did they avg 30,000 in April/May in 2008, 2009, and 2011 (3 million fan years)? Price is keeping me home a bit more, yet I have been to 3 games. I think we should be 2.5/2.6 mill again.
  5. Stay a little above .500 and teams are players in the 2nd half. Those 3 Wild Card teams keep so many teams in it….when there was only 1 WC team, not so much. NFL preseason games in August usually meant hopes had vanished for middling teams. Now get hot in September could mean that third WC.
  6. Glad we did not spend on Adames…having awful year.
  7. Give the idiots credit. Talking to a Cubs fan on a plane, he said so many more Brewers fans in Wrigley last few years. Nothing like this though. 60-70%?
  8. Woodruff cannot stop talkin…muted a couple times…..just awful way to spend $18 million. Maybe he can get thru his 5th and 6th minor league outing and can maybe go 4 innings in June.
  9. No issue with Alexander opening. No issue with Murphy at all. Just losing now...still good group,, gamers. Easy to be hopeless down big, but I see promise everywhere especially with a dozen guys getting healthy eventually this season.
  10. Feel Brewers are still a good team….loaded with potential with guys getting healthy and young guys almost here…Pratt, Miz. We have played two more road games than home and we are 2 games under….nothing great so far, but not bad for playing uninspired ball as a whole. “Gray skies are gonna clear up….put on a ..”
  11. Huge mistake by Giants….cost them two runs.
  12. Offense B Enough bright spots and health to be encouraged. Defense C Not that they are making errors all over the place, but the good/great plays are not close to last year’s pace. Rotation B+ For as good as it has been with all the injuries and now rookies throwing, it has been quite something, we are not getting deep in games and rely on our deep pen maybe more than any other team. Can’t give an A because of it, but the group has been a surprisingly monster success. Bullpen B+ Lots of quality innings with a few duds…our top 6 have been very good. Coaching A- Few issues that I lay awake about….love the bunting. Not a fan of Frelick hitting 5 or 6….rather have a little more pop there. I would throw a few less pitchers in some games. No pitcher hitting really allows you to get a third or two thirds more of an inning out of a guy. Throwing 5 or 6 pitchers in a close loss really hurts when off days are missing. Front Office B The injuries have tested our depth and FO decision making abilities. I can’t believe how good the rotation has been….guys that have been brought up have been great. And the Priester trade looks good now. I like most thought 3B as a hole and it is a big question mark this year and especially the next few. Durbin should be better offensively. Minors B Nice to have a few potential upgrades waiting in the wings, even with some hurt or struggling in April. MVP Freddy/Frelick Disappointment… Mitchell I still expect him to do better. Yet, he likely gets hurt, as well. Surprise…Patrick
  13. Reminds me of a game 10 years ago or so….Brewers up 5-0 in 9th in Arizona…and give up like 7 or 8 straight hits without getting an out and lost. seems like this should be a playoff game.
  14. And 18 in last 7….. I am not in the camp of best overall starting staff in NLCentral including our injuries, especially if you consider Ashby/Hall/Woodruff cannot be expected to pitch 5 plus innings. We are hanging on for dear life in April. Sp all hurt. I also cringe at what the staff will look like in 2026. However, Misiorowski/Myers/Priester could change my mind quickly. Yet….we are loaded in minors and loaded with stars here….Chourio, Contreras, Yelich. And plenty of young supporting cast types. With upside in Turang, Mitchell, and Frelick.
  15. I haven’t seen Usher Bill in his usual sections of 216-218….is he still around the stadium?
  16. Overall lack of talent? Huh? We are loaded. We are hurt, mainly with SP. And they all should be back this season. Whachoo talkin bout Willis?
  17. Why isn’t Quintana ready to pitch? Was he hurt too? Crazy.
  18. Oops….just looked at one source. Apologies.
  19. We gave up appx 1.2 HRs a game last season….think we are north of 4 so far. get out of NY quickly.
  20. I am not seeing a salary cap….how long of a strike do you want to see? I would start with harsher luxury taxes, a universal draft, and more easy perks for smaller markets (45 man roster, more draft picks in between rounds 2 and 3, higher share of national broadcasting). And Attanasio is 5 years younger than Manfred. 61 to 66. It is possible.
  21. Totally agree…senseless. It would be so easy and would take care of most collisions there.
