  1. Wondering the same….have searched website to no avail.
  2. On July 10, 2022, Hiura was sent down…….hitting .805 in 144 PA, which was considerably higher than about every Brewer that ear and now this year outside of Yelich (and Haase). Hit .866 against RHP, ….949 as a DH….for the entire MLB year, even with a Sept. slide. Brought back in 2023 for $2 million to hit all year at AAA Nashville where he hit .960 (.882 this year) while our many rotating DH were the sadly worst in baseball at .658. Hit terrible with Angels in 7 starts within an 2.5 week period. Only 27 years old. I am on very thin ice..,well, actually one boot has fallen through by now. Still believe but he is getting close to the end if he doesn’t take advantage of his breaks.
  3. Mismanaged him and the DH spot in 2023. Of course.
  4. Great pitching again. How many games have we had where bullpen gives up nothing? Seems extraordinarily good. Lots of rumor mill stuff today too with Brewers inked to a bunch of SP. wondering if its a case of smoke and then fire.
  5. They do have that freedom. That is not news. But I have to think the bunt was on with Ortiz and yes it is very questionable with .200 K hitter up next.
  6. Crazy to say, but it is possible Ortiz did it on his own.
  7. Koenig! Just wondering if Megil would come in with bases loaded tie! Or even down 2-1. Odd. Only saw Megill in pen. Thought for sure Megil was coming in bases loaded up 1 with two outs.

  9. Yelich needs to be on a chiropractor table somewhere…not hanging out in the dugout.
  10. Turang did that!! So needed for him……Now steal.
  11. Love has all the leverage here….would be interesting if he said it has to be x amount of dollars per year and Packers balking…Packers in awful position.
  12. 100% agree…and Chourio can hit higher.
  13. Didn’t Contreras kind of nix an extension already? Need some help with the specifics, but I remember the topic being broached to him and he acted like he had no interest.
  14. Has an option left… will likely be used.
  15. Completely daunted so far…how undaunted will 9th look?
  16. We could trade away our top 10 prospects this year for rotation/bullpen help and upgrades in the field and we still wouldn’t be favored against Dodgers or Phillies. I disagree with most of what you are saying.
  17. It might cost our future #1 SP Misioroski and several other top prospect cogs to get a #1/#2 type pitcher for just the next year to two and a half years…..likely too costly. I don’t see a CC Sabathia type on the trading blocks either. A flash in the pan or two. A #3 or #4 having a good year.
  18. I am pretty sure both Weeks and Hook were on the mound talking/discussing/listening…..not just a delivery. But maybe I am wrong and Weeks just delivered glove.
  19. Why is this odd? 2/3 of those you picked are under 90 and 1/3 are over. I gave the rough average….not manipulating stats. For Hiura, though, it isn’t quite fair to include his bad years from 4-5 years ago without including his good one. If you are going to go back 3 or 4 years, why not go one further? I mean, he is very different than large majority in that he actually had All Star caliber numbers early and then went down. Leaving out that success is important.
  20. Last comment I would make about this injury riddled team....awful. Depth everywhere.
  21. Hiura wasn’t struggling in 2022 (.765 and 115 wRC+)…..team OPS is .733 right now. His numbers were better than almost everyone returning in 2023. And his 2023/2024 milb numbers are well above avg. I think a big part of this is that CC had a belief that everyone on the bench should be a defense plus player at different positions. And if Winker was the exception, then Hiura didn’t have a place.
