  1. And love the two pickups to the rotation already, even though I cannot believe Keukel is getting guys out and giving up no run games. Great no/low risk trades that are needed!!
  2. I love having a great minor league system, but I think the fan base expects the team to try when we get into July six games up. I hope we trade at areas of depth and get a playoff game caliber starter and a rotation piece for next year.
  3. Williams/Megill can both get save situations. However, I cannot believe we throw Williams in save situations right off the bat.
  4. If we struggle in bottom of 8th, I think it might be wise to let Megill go 1 and 1+ today….off tomorrow.
  5. Get wm tomorrow and the road trip is tolerable...
  6. I give him this guy and thru Ohtani…
  7. Still selling on Stubhub in the 4th inning? Much cheaper now! Ha.
  8. Worst seat in house on Subhub was around $60
  9. 0 wins in LA…bad road trip (2-5) 1 win in LA…content with west coast road trip (3-4) 2 wins…good trip (4-3) 3 wins…wow (5-2)
  10. Off day Monday….bullpen should be wide open for three games.
  11. Adames is a cleanup hitter with a 755 career OPS. Glad he was on fire for a third of the year, but his normal spot on a good team is 7th. Hoskins career OPS is .833…still have hope for him.
  12. Lots of movement on the ball….wiffle
  13. Before this series, I was content with a 3-4 road trip…not happy, but content. Really tough to win 3 of 4 anywhere. Now it’s a bad road trip with no wins in LA, a contented one with a win in LA, and a great road trip if we win the series in LA.
  14. Murphy talked about giving Frelick starts at 3B before the season. This is not far-fetched. Regular? No. Kinda like with Black at first. And it looks like he is 5’10” again…not 6’0”.
  15. I think we are very close to that point of whether he opts in or out. If you double his same stats for the second half, I still think he opts out. Also, he could play worse and still opt out with a few big hits in the postseason. I think he needs to play worse and/or get injured for him to opt in.
  16. Rea 7 and 0… Our Hero, Junis a save with 2… The Murph just knew
  17. Call was a strike, though. Not close.
  18. Says nothing about multiple members of the coaching staff visiting the mound…so maybe you could have every coach visit the pitcher.
  19. My guess is that several B prospects and an A would be needed to get Scherzer. Can’t see him going for less than a small haul with several teams likely interested.
  20. I have no idea how we deal with the rotation/bullpen when several guys come back from injuries….Williams, Koenig, Hall. Bukauskas. Rob Z is likely gone. Pegeuro and Milner can be optioned, but can hardly see that happening…..have interesting decisions/phantom injuries to come.
  21. I think so too…heard one of our tv guys say we learned something about mound visits.
  22. Super move… TB saved 2.4 million and they get a low prospect they like? Sounds reasonable for a small market. Brewers get a maybe quality SP for 2024 (and 2025 if they so choose for 4ish mil), don’t have to give up a top prospect, get him in early July, and possibly fills a weakness in the rotation.
