Right down the heart of the plate.

Nobody makes that play. Wes is slow, but it didn't matter there.
  3. Weirdos19
That all RH lineup would look good now. Ugly
  4. Weirdos19
Magruder gonna cost us a run after all.
  5. Weirdos19
Magruder could see Biggio backing that up. Supid baserunning will kill us sooner or later.
  6. Weirdos19
    Magruder is dumb. Cmon Lyle.
  7. Weirdos19
Bunt Magruder here. Give him a useful atbat.
  8. Weirdos19
Jenkins needs to play. He's carried us. Personally glad to see Lyle in there too. Prince can be our first PH when they bring in a RHP. Branyan would hit for Helms in that situation. Edit: I hope.

Yeah, that Astros lineup doesn't scare me too much. They better be glad their staff is having the season they are.

My guess is that Yost thinks Corey would have trouble with Pettitte's cutter. But who's to say Magruder wouldn't? Mags vs. LHP .281/.303/.375/.678 His "good" side.

Yost said the other day that Magruder sees alot of pitches, helps get us to their bullpen. I would think that getting on base may raise a pitchers pitch count. Mags is sporting a sub .280 OBP. Ick. Would rather see them give Hart more at bats. (Scratching my head)

Rice deserves to be in. 382 HR then is like 582 now. The guy was the most feared hitter of his time. Back then, you knew you could whiff Reggie, Rice was another story. Great ballplayer, HOF worthy.

I'm guessing that tonight's game isn't televised because FSN thinks we'd all rather watch a preseason football game. Yuck. I, personally, would rather watch college football instead of the NFL.

    Hindsight is 20/20.

117 pitches. Ned made the right move.
  16. Weirdos19
Ned made the right move with taking DD out. Vizcaino hits .279 vs LHP, .198 vs. RHP Plus he was tired. It was the right move, just didn't pan out.
  17. Weirdos19
It has to kill Garner to see Tavares trying to go deep.
  18. Weirdos19
If it's a WP? Yes. If it's a passed ball, it depends if Tavares gets a hit.

    PB

Vizcaino is a switch hitter. Even a 100MPH fastball can't be thrown down the middle.
  21. Weirdos19
    97? Wow. Bust him in.
  22. Weirdos19
Nice game Doug. Our starters have been great the last few days.
  23. Weirdos19
    He went. That's terrible.
  24. Weirdos19
What a pitch. Atta boy Dougie.
  25. Weirdos19
Big inning for Dougie. Sutton calls his change a cut fastball. Hopefully Davis can throw harder than 83MPH.
