Yes. Hypothetically...If the Raiders come calling with some crazy overpay, say 4 firsts and 2 seconds, you're saying no? I would drive Aaron to the airport myself. Definitely would not sign Winston however.
So is plasma going to be the golden ticket here? How many patients can be treated per recovered donor? I know it is still in trials but am curious if a person can just keep donating like they would at Biolife (2 times per week).
I enjoyed seeing the highlights because the game has changed so much. Jordan took a lot of mid range shots and he got a lot of foul calls, just like I remembered him.
I did the draft simulator and came up with the following: 1. J. Jones- OT 2. C. Claypool- WR 3. T. Biadasz-OL 4. L. Bowden- WR 5. T. Muse- S/LB 6. L. Jackson- CB 7. J. Kelley- RB 8. R. Williams- DL 9. J. Runyan- OT 10. R. Windsor-DL I went a little Big Ten heavy probably. I also think they will consolidate a pick or two to trade up.
The University of Minnesota has developed a test to check to see if you have had the virus and passed it or not. Would those that have had it and passed it be able to donate plasma to help those that need it? I have not seen much on using plasma as a potential solution but I might not be looking in the proper spots.
Problem is everyone's definition of "even keeled" is different. Very true. I don't think shutting things down for 12-18 months like I have seen suggested by some people online is in any way acceptable. I believe we should be talking weeks and not many months personally. Testing, supplies and stricter methods should get us there I hope.
I am sure people will disagree with me but I feel we should have stricter measures right now (actually enforce them as well). I would keep that going until we have sufficient medical supplies and hospital capacity to handle it or we develop a cure. Then I would start to loosen things up and slowly get back to normal. There needs to be an even keeled approach that involves safety, the economy and quality of life all considered.
I teach online part time for a side gig. After all of this went down, I really thought we would get an influx of students since we know how to handle this. We even got asked how many more students we would take on if necessary. So far I have not gotten any more.
