I do think there's an interesting note about how things played out last night related to Green Bay's pick last night and the board setting up for today- there were a few guys projected for the 42-45 range at Edge that moved up into the 1st round somewhat unexpectedly. That perhaps reduces some of the negativity surrounding the Van Ness pick, as it seemed like they took a good option, but at a position with mid-round depth in this draft. Now that some of that depth isn't going to be there, the pick looks somewhat better in that regard.
That also means the Pack is setup to have pass-catcher options with both 2nds here, and some maneuverability if they want to go up and get one. There's a chance they could end up with two of Hyatt/Washington/Mayer/Musgrave, and that coupled with LVN yesterday makes for a pretty exciting draft outlook today.
