  1. I like Downs as a player, but size has the reason I’ve never really linked him as an option for Green Bay. Reality is that’ll disqualify Hyatt too, but I really like Hyatt and hold out hope they’ll take him.
  2. I do think there's an interesting note about how things played out last night related to Green Bay's pick last night and the board setting up for today- there were a few guys projected for the 42-45 range at Edge that moved up into the 1st round somewhat unexpectedly. That perhaps reduces some of the negativity surrounding the Van Ness pick, as it seemed like they took a good option, but at a position with mid-round depth in this draft. Now that some of that depth isn't going to be there, the pick looks somewhat better in that regard. That also means the Pack is setup to have pass-catcher options with both 2nds here, and some maneuverability if they want to go up and get one. There's a chance they could end up with two of Hyatt/Washington/Mayer/Musgrave, and that coupled with LVN yesterday makes for a pretty exciting draft outlook today.
  3. A bunch of talent I like heading into day two with two 2nds- Branch in the secondary, Hyatt at WR, Washington & Mayer at TE. I'm a fan of White and Adetomiwa Adebawore, but it's doubtful they double-dip at edge early.
  4. Man, I wasn't a fan of Branch in the mid-first, but he's a steal if the Pack can land him tomorrow.
  5. Jacksonville taking advantage of some odd minor move-ups here.
  6. Giants up to 24 from 25?
  7. Seems like if the Packers value one of Flowers/Hyatt, might be time to package the third to go up and get one.
  8. I LOVE how ESPN is still talking prior to the Seahawks pick at 20, and the clock on the big screen in the background is literally counting down 22, two full picks later.....
  9. Seahawks grab Levis here, right?
  10. All three teams largely expected to be in the market for JSN have now passed (GB/NE/PIT). How far does he fall?
  11. Will McDonald is an interesting guy to follow as he develops.
  12. Hopefully ESPN is able to Facetime Rodgers to get his response to the pick.
  13. Steelers up to #14. Apparently neither GB nor NE, the two most likely teams to take him, want JSN here.
  14. Packers have selected Lukas Van Ness, Edge, Iowa with #13.
  15. Lukas Van Ness it is. Solid pick.
  16. Packers on the clock! JSN, LVN, Broderick Jones, Christian Gonzalez?
  17. Since they're taking forever to announce picks, they're starting to leak again. Lions going RB- Jahmyr Gibbs in a stunner.
  18. Skoronski to the Titans, apparently?
  19. Wright is a BOLD pick there. Bold.
  20. Chicago needs corner help, Titans probably take Levis. Leaves Detroit as the last major wildcard before #13.
  21. They were supposedly high on him when they had #1. Kind of a gut punch as a rival fan that he may fall into their lap at 9 while picking up a ton by trading back.
  22. That's the danger of your franchise QB advocating for one particular guy, as he did with PJJ. Feel like they were compelled to make a trade back up to get him, giving up a nice early 2nd round pick as a result.
