  1. Is Shakir really still there? A WR double-dip makes sense if they like him….
  2. The runs on TE, punters, and DBs mean that they still have some o line and edge guys to choose from at 140.
  3. Doubs will do just fine!
  4. Yeah, that TE run was kind of annoying. McCollum seems like great value here.
  5. And there goes Mitchell. It’ll be interesting to see if we have a run on OTs here early.
  6. For every guy that shoots up draft boards late and gets picked early like Walker, there are guys like Winfrey who shoot up late and fall back down when actually picked.
  7. 4th overall tackle in RAS. Just ahead of Tom, who was 5th.
  8. I hadn’t seen Mitchell’s RAS until now, so I think that’s fair. But Tom’s was very high. I’d be curious if they think him versatile enough to cover guard.
  9. Max Mitchell and Zach Tom both scream ‘typical Packer fourth rounder that starts for 12 years’ type o-linemen to me.
  10. I think PFN had him ranked in the 50s, so nice versatile o line pick.
  11. Tolbert Tolbert Tolbert. Maybe Ruckert.
  12. Thing is, that was widely known before this weekend. Why was he considered in the first before now?
  13. Dean is a bewildering fall.
  14. I would give about anything for Lucas or Raimann.
  15. As today has gone on, I personally am down on trading 92 as I see it as an opportunity to grab one of the TEs like Ruckert or a safety that is likely to be there, and possibly a WR like Tolbert. I think they’ll move a fourth for sure, but I’m kind of liking the idea of moving into the 40s with one or moving into the high 3rd by packaging 92+ one to go up and get someone but still making 3 picks today.
  16. If you want to see ultra-clueless, check out a lot of today's re-mocks that are now force-feeding WRs to the Packers in the 2nd. I don't mean 'Pickens slides and the Packers take him' stuff, I mean like out there stuff like Khalil Shakir to them at 53. At some point they'll realize that they're more likely to double-dip at IDL than to reach for a WR just to take one.
  17. Just a few more trade chart hypotheticals for tonight: Both fourths get you an extra third, at about pick 99/100. 53 + 171 (fifth) moves you up a couple of spots. 59 plus the 5th gets you to 56. If you're like me and believe one of the 4ths is a goner, 53+ a fourth gets you to 47/48. 59+ gets you to 52/54.
  18. 59 plus the 3rd and first of the 4ths (132) gets you to 39. Do the 2nd fourth instead, and you're at 40.
  19. Happy Day 2 everyone! Feels like another big day for Green Bay after a nice first round last night. A lot of talent on the board, a lot of capital to move around if they want to. Wonder if the trade market will heat up today as teams position themselves for tonight and/or turn to vet trades to fill holes now.
  20. Was coming here to post this as well. They played their board, getting likely their top ILB and the 2nd DT rather than their 7th WR overdrafted.
  21. Gute reportedly just dropped a “ I don’t think we NEED to draft a WR tomorrow “ at the podium, which is A+ Packer Twitter trolling.
  22. Yeah, I’m a bit devastated with how safety ran at the end there. Unlikely they’d have been in play at 53, but both names I really liked.
  23. For those already wondering about the math, per the Rich Hill chart the Packers could package 53, 92, and 132 and move up to 36 tomorrow should they want to.
  24. I think we're all a little stunned at how the WR board fell and perhaps disappointed as a result, but absent trading up to 11 with a high price, that wasn't something the Packers can control. I like how they played the board thereafter. Hard not to be excited about the defense with Walker/Wyatt in it. Pickens, Pierce, Watson, Tolbert- still WR help available tomorrow if they want it. And a lot of additional top of round talent at Edge. A lot. Mafe, Ojabo, Drake Jackson, Ebiketie.
  25. Cine is still there and would be a great fit.
