    I heard from a source close to Boomer Esiason that Hub didn’t qualify for the Rodgers rate, which is why he’s so salty.

    I believe retirement is treated the same as a cut for cap purposes. I believe Drew Brees restructured his contract prior to retiring last offseason for that reason.

    As of today, the 2021 cap is finalized. The Packers will carry over $3.1 million into next year’s cap, and they will likely need every penny.

    I do think that was the NFL’s plan before the season started, but week 18 hasn’t been a good thing for the league this far.

    Nice of the NFL to add this extra week to the season so that we get to watch these preseason games in prime time.

    Rodgers and Jordan Love have both taken to Twitter to call that story the nonsense that it is. The thought that an ultra competitive guy like Rodgers would boycott a chance to win his second title is literally insane.

    To be fair, it’s almost universally accepted that those leaks came from his camp & people close to him.

    Never said anything of the sort, for the record, as I agree. That was the beginning point of my post of him "not being a bad person" where you started debating that he might possibly be a bad person because maybe he doesn't love his momma. My point was that it’s not mutually exclusive to say that he may be both a “bad person” AND deserving of winning the MVP.
