It seems like the officials are always against whatever team you root for. While that may be a good rule of thumb for most fans of a particular team, it doesn't keep it from actually being true on occasion.

I agree with Schroeder on that one. The ball was slicing, would have been a tough catch. The only reason he would have had to dive was because it took him forever to get there in the first place, IMO.
I'm pissed it took until 4 hours after our first game for there to be threads calling for Yost to be fired. I mean, we only won by six runs!!!!!!! Some other unnamed manager easily could have simply willed us to 7 or 8 more. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
Yeah, it seems to be getting fairly out of control. I'm glad I grabbed a few letters before things skyrocketed, but frustrated that I'm going to be screwed in getting the tough ones.
Yay for discovering that an old plastic figure that was given to me a few years back from a family friend for nothing after the passing of an elderly relative is actually a genuine Hank Aaron Hartland statue from the 50s. I had been thinking it was just a plastic toy that was worth little or nothing. I hope to post some pictures from my collection at some point. EDIT: Hank is front and center (an example of what I'm talking about, not my actual one): http://www.bmwcards.com/images/hartlandimage.jpg
Yeah, I've picked up a few over the last two/three weeks, and they're absolutely fantastic looking in person. Pretty cool concept. And $66 for that Gywnn 'G' is just absurd.
