  1. You missed the conversation from late in Friday's game, eh? Sorry. I should have referenced it. Apparently. So I assume you were being sarcastic?
  2. He didn't earn it. Ah. And Hudson has? The strikezone it supposed to stay the same, not vary because a pitcher has 'earned it'.
  3. What a crap strike three call on Hart. Same exact pitch off the plate one pitch before was correctly called a ball. Bah. Crappy umpiring in this series.
  4. Seriously, why do we have these times when our pitchers are just cruising along, and then suddenly forget how to pitch after they get two outs?
  5. Kind of like the lineup today for no real reason whatsoever.
  6. Pretty much. Very entertaining evening..... despite little Brewers or Packers followability. Hehe! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  7. Maybe Jenkins would have caught that ball. Just wondering the same thing myself....
  8. Did we have to ride Turnbow to the ground there? That ump missed two K's. And Gross might have caught that ball if he had actually made an effort on it.
  9. Good work by Jenks.... just missed the lead.
  10. Ack.... even a double play would have been better. Kinda feeling good about Jenkins here....
  11. Remember when Cappy used to not suck at the start of the year? EDIT: Still has a good move.
  12. Can we please bench both of them now? I don't want to see Gross or Clark until Sunday or so...
  13. With Helling, Kolb, and Wise all throwing well lately, he wasn't needed. Now Ned brings him into a game that wasn't quite put away, and now Cubs are right back in it. With a 4 run lead, it was a decent time to get him back in the saddle.
  14. Yaaaay bullpen! YAAAAAAY bullpen! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  15. Thanks much, non-sucky Doug. Good job.
  16. If this sucky Doug Davis would kindly return the pretty good Doug Davis to the Brewers, it'd be much appreciated.
  17. Want to call that third strike any later there, ump?
  18. Is it just me, or does Kevin Mench pretty much suck? He's 1/3 with a BB and a run scored. Definitely hasn't sucked tonight.
  19. How is it that in between all of the comments on this board, you find mine and respond? We were losing, so I knew where to find you. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Truth hurts sometimes: SEASON OVER!!! That's been apparent for weeks. Someone's getting to ya, huh? Not at all.... just pointing out the truth. If the Brewers were up 5-0, you probably wouldn't be around tonight, based on historical patterns.
  20. Then I hope all the apologists will throw in the towel for good because the Cubs severely suck (what does that say about us?) Almost sounds like you're happy they're losing.....
  21. They did mention and show Suppan's ERA when he took the mound in the first inning. They also pointed out how Suppan dominates the Brewers.
  22. A Brewer batter is going to be ejected before this game is over, I think.
  23. Excuse me, but I don't remember calling people on the board "incoherent." Don't try to misconstrue my words. I merely said they would be thinking "more coherently." And like I said, that's a back-handed insult. No, you didn't use the word incoherent, but that is certainly what was implied. Last warning for everyone: Play nice, or this makes history as the first IGT to be locked.
  24. You'll start thinking more coherently, like myself and naivin already are! Your backhanded insults toward everyone are also unappreciated. People aren't 'incoherent' simply because they don't agree with you.
  25. Thus, Ben Sheets does not make my favorite players list, nor does Geoff Jenkins. I love players who get the most of their ability and contribute in the clutch and earn their money. There's nothing wrong with that. Except that Jenkins has, in actuality, performed very well in the clutch this year overall.
