    My guess is that you'd be "black balled" from the FO and Players as a leaky source. So your effectiveness as a reporter (and your job performance) may go down. That kind of goes back to the entire Main Stream Media vs. Bloggers thing.

    Not sure Russ. I've only seen him on BCB, he's very active on that site. Seems to really know his stuff. I do see a fair amount of usuals from here posting over there though (I'm looking at you lamps, molitorfan!). The one post I look for every day is the Frosty Mug by KLSnow. Posts a good wrap up, and good summary of injuries and what's going on in the brewer world.

    I don't think having a WHIP of 1.85 is bad luck. It's somethings wrong. He also has a below average BABIP http://www.fangraphs.com/graphs/650_P_season_full_7_20080513.png His K/9 is good but he's walking a lot of people so his BB/9 is well.. pretty bad. (and has nothing to do with Luck) I'm hoping he figures it out, and I'm hoping that whatever changes he makes his change up starts not hanging and getting pummeled.

    This one makes me nervous. A Sinkerball pitcher and a struggling Brewer who has a lot of problems going deep into games. I expect Riske to eat up at least 2 innings tonight. Comes on Parra, prove me wrong.

    There's some pretty good year to year FB/Change up PitchFX data analysis over at BCB. It seems that his change and fastball are to much alike and he's not getting the downward movement and more lateral on his changes. According to the poster, if he moved his arm slot a little more "over the top" and pitched "taller" he could get more downward movement on his change, but at the same time might lose a little bit of velocity on his FB. Same guy also posted some more information about PitchFX data on all our pitchers . According to that data, Turnbow has a horrible, horrible fastball.

    Where'd you sit Hawing? I started in 231 (Off course the section over wins something) but then I moved by some friends that had extra tickets up on Terrace. Good to see Braun and Hardy starting to hit the ball well. Hopefully the rest of the team comes around. Gabe Gross Game Worn Jersey is now 1 - 3, thank god, I was about to hang that thing up forever.. but now it's got a win I can wear it with pride!

    My respect for Gagne just went up. Just as I got off the bus. I appreciate him for not making excuses or giving baseball cliche's. Hopefully his acknowledgment that his play is sub par he'll turn it around like Riske recently did.

    I'm with Gifted on this one. I don't think the SS was a bad call, with any reasonable bunt we don't get doubled up and we put the pressure back on the Cards. What's unreasonable is that either Billy messed up or Kendall did. Now that's bad coaching if one or both players didn't acknowledge the play and went through it.

    I'm not big on the booing your own team. At all.. but I think it was a lot of drunk frustration. Being a sold out high drunk ratio outing, you knew the boos were coming. Lots of Anti-Yost talking, it's making it's way into the main stream baseball conversation. It's one game, lets just hope that it's the fluke unlike last nights. But I'm officially off the Gagne bus, he looked pretty poor again. But what else can we do with a 10 million hand cuff?

    Yeah I'm debbing downer. Just trying not to drink to much koolaid by one good performance. It was a great win, don't get me wrong, but we have some concerns. Lets just hope this smacked them out of their rut.

    Lets not kid ourselves here. Last night was a great win. I won't take anything away from that, but we still have played nothing but horrible, horrible baseball in the last few weeks and one win doesn't erase that. To be so doom and gloomy, we are one, yes ONE game from being tied with the Pirates. You know, the supposed laughing stock of the NL Central? We still couldn't turn RISP into runs, our starters can't appear to get very long, and our power is down. I'm cautiously optimistic, but I'm far from drinking the blue koolaid again after such a depressing last couple of weeks. We are 11 - 17 in the last month, so there's plenty of things to be concerned about.

    Yeah go to the doctor. They'll tell you it's just bruised or if it's broken. I thought I fractured my foot a few months ago during a hard foul in Soccer, turns out it was a strained tendon across the top of my foot. That thing hurt. No insurance? Take a drive to Canada eh?
