    I don't care how much he struggles, he's my favorite Brewer of all time simply because he has done just about anything that the organization has asked him too and never once (that I can recall) been unprofessional about it. My nickname for Billy now is the The Pro. I can't believe I like someone better than Robin Yount.

    John Heyman said on the Hot Stove tonight (probably belongs on rumor page) that he believes the Brewers could get in on Lowe, who by the way is looking for 16 mil per season. Do we have that money to spend?

    LBSU is good. That was a quality win. We'll look back at the end of the year and see this as a quality win. Jordan Taylor is impressive-Frosh pg playing serious minutes in the first game-he's good.

    Bill Hall plays 3rd base, not well, but he's there. I'm sure they can pick up a thrid basemen (like greg dobbs) and platoon.

    I still say trade from a surpluss. It makes ecnomics sense because the Crew have capable backups and it makes sense financially because the Brewers will not pay everyone who is arbitration elgible. Of course if Peavy is available then this goes out the window cause then they would probably move Esobar in a package, if they even have a chance at Peavy.

    Hardy will be traded this summer. His stock will never be higher plus trading him from a position in which the Brewers have a surpluss (hall and escobar) makes business sense. Fielder isn't going anywhere because he is the only left handed stick in the lineup. By the way, I know everyone is high on Escobar but I was looking at his MLE and he seems destined for an OBP of around 310 next year. Maybe he isn't ready.

    Here's to a great season, no matter waht happens today. I will be cheering positively today, because cheering negatively will not improve anything. I don't care if Sabathia doesn't make it out of the first, best season I've had the privelage of watching. Winning wouldn't be so bad.

    The feeling I have is that they are a little mentally tougher today. Just seeing McClung's reaction after the Coffey K makes me feel better about them. Maybe the pressure is completely off now that they are out of it.

Again, who are you bringing in to from bullpen. I believe that Yost was going with Shouse as his guy, no righty or lefty matchups, just who he could rely on.

    Not against right-handers. Then who do bring in? I see lots of people say take him out but who is going to come in and shut the door? I don't see any Brewer righties getting the job done. Shouse has. (fixed code --1992)

    I realize that Ned is critiziczed because he left Shouse in but is there a righty option that is reliable and getting the job done? If there is then I have missed him the last two weeks. Shouse has been the best reliever all year and I would have went with him. He moved the lineup around, which is what everyone wants, and puts Durham in and he gives us the lead. Gutsy decision to put the 2b in the 3 hole. Remmeber your frustration is not with Yost but with the incredible lack of hitting. 5 hits. Remember that is why they are losing.

    Hopefully there are guys on in front of Braun-I like moving him down, even if it's only for a game. When was the last time that a first inning of a game was so important? Am I the only one who thinks they have to put a run up right away?

    Shouse should be pitching, regardless of what hand he throws with, because he's the best we have right now.
