  1. Yelich: .619 OPS Frelick: .511 OPS Turang: .452 OPS I know last night was really tough with Snell, but we have to get more from our big lefty bats to have a chance to win this series.
  2. I don’t think there’s much doubt that if Turang didn’t get out of the way we would have won last night.
  3. You’re right, some more perspective is probably good. Freddy could come through tonight, we could swing the bats better. Here’s hoping. Going into L.A. down 2-0 would be a pretty tough spot.
  4. This was a tough one to swallow, because it would have been one of the most epic playoff wins in Brewers history. We need 6 really good innings out of Freddy. I wonder if they’ll open with a lefty just to get through Ohtani and Freeman the first time or just go with a traditional start for Freddy.
  5. So you want to lead off with the guy who has a .511 playoff OPS. Against lefties.
  6. I’m ok with the way we approached their hitters. Allowing 2 runs should win most games. Yelich has gotta hit more. Turang has gotta hit more. Frelick has gotta hit more. I know these are tough pitchers we’re going up against, but either you hit more and you give yourself a chance or you don’t and it was a nice season and see you in 2026. That’s unfortunately all there is to it.
  7. I think lowkey one of the most disappointing things about tonight is that you had one of the most insane plays in MLB history occur and instead of it being an enormous part of our 2025 World Series story it’s just a footnote now.
  8. We lost, but at least he doesn’t have a bruised thigh.😆
  9. I mean, yes, but the pressure tomorrow is heightened quite a bit. If you head to L.A. without a single win your chances of winning the series are somewhere between slim and none.
  10. We need to score more than 2 runs per game. That’s our average the last 3 games and our current problem.
  11. You don’t need to start either against LHP. They usually haven’t.
  12. Sorry. It was the “negative in 3/4 of your posts” that did it for me. I’ve had a few and am disappointed. You have the right perspective. Here’s to hopefully winning Game 2.
  13. Yeah Bauers has been great lately, but no you can’t start him against LHP.
  14. You know he’s a free agent after the season, right ?
  15. I’m really disappointed that one of the most bizarre plays ever didn’t result in a win for us.
  16. Every lefty in the Brewer lineup has been complete garbage at the plate in October. Makes it tough.
  17. I stand corrected, I must be thinking of someone else but man was that disappointing. The series might swing on that AB.
  18. Ok. He hit one insurance HR that proved meaningless. He’s got a .452 OPS in the playoffs WITH that home run.
  19. Then at least don’t follow it up by swinging at a pitch 12 inches high.
  20. Incredible pressure to win tomorrow. If you head to LA down 2-0 this is looking like Dodgers in 4 or 5.
  21. He’s been utter garbage for most of September and the entire playoffs and he probably just cost us a win in the NLCS.
  22. We were so fortunate just to lose 2-1 tonight. This was a game we had to have to take this series.
  23. Had to have this one to win this series. And all Turang had to do was not move. What an absolutely atrocious postseason by Brice Turang.
