  1. I don’t think you’re going to find any young pitchers with less talent and more consistency. I guess the best example would have been Tobias Myers, last year, and now he can’t even crack the rotation. Consistency in young pitchers is tough to come by. Freddy is 11-4 with a 2.88 ERA. I know there’s a recency bias here today, but he’s been pretty dang consistent this year.
  2. I could see that if he’s still fully locked in at the end of the year. Right now I’d still like to see a little more a sample coming back from the major injury.
  3. Did he actually throw the ball back on the field? I never saw that. I don’t know why’d you’d make a great catch and then do that.
  4. Not sure where Dillard got that feeling. Sure looked more to me like Freddy just had a really bad inning.
  5. Pages wins the award for “Pitch that caught most of strike zone that was still whined about”
  6. Based on what? He’s given up multiple walks, given up a run on a wild pitch, and grooved two pitches that were hit hard.
  7. You can’t walk the guy in front of Ohtani and then proceed to throw him a middle middle changeup on the 1st pitch. Come on, Freddy. That wasn’t good baseball.
  8. What the heck. I was wondering why this thread was a few pages long already because I didn’t think this started until 9:10 and were up 4-0.
  9. It would be nice to have the fun of getting to play for getting into 1st one of these days, but the Yankees and Red Sox have been useless.
  10. 4-0 against the Dodgers. That’s definitely a thing. Unlike previous years, at this point we shouldn’t be doubting that we can beat them in a 7 game series.
  11. I mean I just think Priester should have been able to go 7 tonight. They may still win anyway. I hope they do.
  12. You’ll have to define “high”, was there ever really a “sell high” window on Joey Wiemer?
