  1. Wow, I take a walk to go to the bathroom and the Brewers are already down 1-2-3 in the 8th! Just a poor performance today.
  2. Innings like that are the reason that the Brewers just don't want to quite yet give up on De La Rosa.
  3. Getting shut out for the 4th time this season already would be unacceptable as well. I hate to bring up the "Fire Wynegar" ideas again, but this inconsistency is just embarrassing. I'd much rather have an offense that put up 5-6 runs most nights than one that can put up 12 on any given night and then get shutout the next by any given scrub. Sometimes you have to look past how many runs we are actually scoring and look at the efficiency of these runs.
  4. Ah it's Hardy. Technically another quality outing for Capuano. Unfortunately, the run support was lacking today, in the sense that there wasn't any.
  5. Go figure, we get nothing. Stupid ump.
  6. Prince was robbed of a hit on a bad call? Wish I could be watching. Well, Brady is 2 for 2, but can he do it when it counts....? This could be a huge inning if the ump had made the right call in right...
  7. Doubled off in right....UGH.... Park is hitting guys, walking guys, and giving up some hits...we shouldn't have a 0 spot on the board right now.
  8. Well, no HR call for me, but he did single. That's just as good if they can get him home...which they haven't been demonstrating a great ability to do that so far today.... Come on Prince...!
  9. Well, DD threw 127 pitches yesterday, no reason that we shouldn't see 150 out of Cappy today, right?? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif
  10. I'll call that Carlos leads off the next inning with a solo homerun.
  11. Another quick, futile inning for the Brewer bats.
  12. It's the Astros/Dodgers, I could care less if it actually happens, so long as the Astros still lose, and their current 6-0 deficit makes that pretty likely. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  13. All right Rickie...if you can score this inning, we'll give you a pass for that mental error last inning...
  14. Speaking of no-no's the Astros are being no-hit by the Dodgers in the 6th.
  15. Wow, according to Gameday, Bellhorn just gave us a huge break there, they had that pitch as easily Ball 4 high. Was it really that high? Would be 4-0 if he took it and possibly even more damage. 3-0 is not insurmountable...come on, bats....
  16. There's that glove at 2nd base that we've so come to know and love. One more run and we might be too far in the hole to dig out of this one.
  17. Yep, and the walk costs a run. MAN I hate walks.
  18. I hate, absolutely hate walks, especially ones that put a runner in scoring position. Cappy is pitching pretty effectively as usual, so far, but seems to be lacking his usual control today.
  19. I agree Capellan was a good call in the 8th, but if we don't see Turnbow in the 9th with the scored tied and 1 run will end the game, and someone else comes in and blows it, that will be 3 out of 4 days that the same decision has costed us the game.
  20. Wow, that was quick. Good inning Cappy2. So the stage is set for the score being tied in the bottom of the ninth, score tied, we need a scoreless inning to have a chance, Turnbow sitting in the pen trying to recall the last time he pitched, and .......who will it be this time?
  21. Ned, if this game goes to the bottom of the 9th tied, let's not be fooled 3 out of 4 days, hmm?
  22. Well, the last out in the 6th came one AB too late. Crap.
  23. There's the classic "swing at Ball 4 in the dirt" Jenkins that we've come to know.
