  1. Yes Matt, now let’s try to establish the run down 17.
  2. He has not been good, but it’s been a multitude of things as it always is in these big games. Drops, mental mistakes, bad decisions, no pass rush. The lack of pass rush is probably my biggest concern as it’s not something that one guy can just come out and fix next week.
  3. Completely exposed as a pretender today.
  4. It’s hard for me to believe that a team that looks honestly really consistently good outside of these 5 games against the best teams just isn’t any good, but whatever they’re bringing to the table in these big games just is not cutting it.
  5. I almost posted in the first quarter that Hafley really has the defense playing well. I’m glad I withheld my praise.
  6. Last week was a “fun” game but if anyone actually read anything into it, that’s on them. It’s a stretch to even say that the Saints put out a professional football team.
  7. The only silver lining to this is assuming we don’t come back, Detroit and Minnesota are playing for the division and #1 seed next week. As much as I hate Viking fans my hatred for Lion fans now somehow exceeds that and I love the thought of them going from presumed #1 seed to heading out on the road for the wild card round in a game they could lose.
  8. Better root for Atlanta tonight. They may be our only hope of avoiding Philly in round 1.
  9. Next big game that we have, MLF should just meet the opposing coach at midfield pregame, allow himself to be pantsed by the opposing coach, trot back to the sidelines, trousers around ankles and save the teams the wear and tear of the actual game. Can’t play the Saints and Spencer Rattler every week, Matt.
  10. If this was a one off, I’d be inclined to agree with you. It’s not. This is 5 times. If you do boneheaded things in 5 straight big games, it’s not really just bad luck anymore, it’s kind of part of your identity.
  11. Not as pathetic as that defensive effort leaving Hock wide open over the middle and still allowing them the shot at 3.
  12. This team is inferior to Minnesota, and the gap is not small.
  13. 3rd and 5 and Love throws way downfield with absolutely nothing there.
  14. Wicks is always good for something stupid. Usually it’s a drop.
  15. It’s all about the pass rush. If they can’t do it, they can’t win in January. Today is disappointing.
  16. They got the stop to hold them to 3, which is big. They absolutely need to put something together and go into halftime no worse than 10-6. They’ve shown terrible clock management in the 2 minute drill at the end of the first half in numerous games this season. Let’s see if they’ve learned.
  17. You can’t win a Super Bowl with this weak of a pass rush.
  18. All that money and draft capital on the defensive line and pass rush and Darnold couldn’t be more comfortable in the pocket. Nicely done, Gute.
  19. Throw was fine especially for being rushed. Reed should have caught it.
  20. I don’t know why any Packer fan has any confidence that we can roll 3 good conference opponents to the Super Bowl when we’ve had 5 opportunities this season to show we can win those games and we have looked like the inferior team in all 5 of those games. We need to be able to beat other teams in our division besides the Bears to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
  21. Whatever I read on Facebook about Packer fans buying the majority of secondary market tickets to this game is definitely not sounding true whatsoever.
  22. Stop drafting projects in the 1st round that need 3 years of development to be successful on a 4-5 year rookie contract.
  23. On that particular play no. But the sequence from the beginning of the drive changes when you don’t have as much room to operate.
  24. That’s also why I like going for the TD down at the 3 and at least give them bad field position if you don’t get it. It’s much easier to drive 75 yards from your own 25 than it is to go 97 yards from your own 3.
