    I get that due to injuries, our current options are pretty limited, but Rodriguez is just not an MLB-ready pitcher.

    Chourio not even having a bad game, 1 for 3, and Murphy just cannot help himself. He has to substitute him out.

    Words can't express how much I hate Rob Manfred. As much as he's screwed with baseball and somehow he still can't fix the biggest problem.

    No such thing. The whole challenge system in baseball is basically "you get one, but if you've already used it, just kindly ask us for another!" Challenge any bad call.

    Classic Brewers' series win. They usually get the job done, but sometimes you can't put a finger on how. To get the W against a divisional rival in a series where we clearly didn't play our best ball is a nice result.

    Oops, I totally missed that, thought he was on 1st. My mistake then, correct move for sure.

    I know people said good move to walk him, but putting the tying run in scoring position and putting De La Cruz on first intentionally where you pretty much lose the lead with a walk is pretty insane. This isn't the prime of Barry Bonds. So glad it worked out.

    Exactly how many more seasons is the league going to look at Jake Bauers and go, "well....he SHOULD be good. Maybe this year?"

    William was way too eager.

    Strike 1 was worse than strike 3. He took 4 balls in that AB and didn't even make it to Ball 3 in the count.

    I don't know what thread this should really go in, but I'm going to play devil's advocate and ask this, because I know I'm not the only one who has thought it. Is it safe to say that Craig Counsell was not as instrumental to our success as many thought and as national talking heads thought? In no way am I saying he was a "bad" manager. I'm just questioning whether it seems like he was more part of a bigger successful system, rather than being some creative genius always pulling all the right strings. Granted, the season is a long ways from over, but the Cubs have talent, and they should be better than this. We've endured every pitcher injury under the sun, and yet things continue on here in Milwaukee with business as usual. It's no longer particularly early, we're nearly halfway through the season.
