    It's kind of like being a Badger basketball fan. You respect and admire the program they've built the last couple decades after years of being an afterthought while also having to accept that they're never going to be the team holding the trophy at the end of the season.

    Unfortunately, MLB is not a level playing field. Our performance this year against the Phillies and Dodgers doesn't bode well for our chances of winning a 7 game series against either, and is a stark reminder that "bites at the apple" is no match for large capital investment.

    Does anyone remember the one career Chris Capuano homerun at Miller Park in like 2006 or 2007 maybe? It was an oppo shot that just kept carrying and carrying and I think Uek was so shocked it went out he didn't even do his homerun call. I just wondered if anyone else recalled this.

    Yeah, it's basically impossible to hit an inside the park HR in any ballpark that doesn't involve a poor misplay. But, not every poor misplay is an error, thus, the inside the park HR exists. I mean, Prince hit 2 because a CFer completely lost the ball in the lights and a RFer refused to pick up a live ball wedged under the fence. But, they weren't errors.

    I get that due to injuries, our current options are pretty limited, but Rodriguez is just not an MLB-ready pitcher.

    Chourio not even having a bad game, 1 for 3, and Murphy just cannot help himself. He has to substitute him out.

    Words can't express how much I hate Rob Manfred. As much as he's screwed with baseball and somehow he still can't fix the biggest problem.

    No such thing. The whole challenge system in baseball is basically "you get one, but if you've already used it, just kindly ask us for another!" Challenge any bad call.
