  1. You can’t go into 2026 with Ortiz as the everyday SS.
  2. I’m more concerned at the moment about trying to win a World Series than Miz’s career development.
  3. Maybe the plan is for Contreras to bail out on a 104 fastball and let Estabrook eat it.
  4. Now that high strike is a strike, right Estabrook?
  5. This umpire should be investigated.
  6. No help from blue that inning, but this should be the first and last game that Ashby opens in the playoffs.
  7. Screw you, blue. Screw. You.
  8. One of the best curveballs you’ll see all season and the umpire just takes a big dump all over the call. Horrible.
  9. Incredible 2 out rally. Imanaga looked so impressive against Chourio and Brice.
  10. Early, but this is not looking great.
  11. That doesn’t make it a great pitch. Suzuki kills high fastballs and that was one just a little bit up outside the zone.
  12. Well, you better have the offense going again today.
  13. Bad, bad start. Ashby opening looks like a bad call.
  14. Phillies were really rallying and just deciding to start giving outs away via sac bunt and now they’ll lose.
  15. Apparently OPI near the goalline is not a penalty if Patrick Mahomes and Taylor Swifts’ fiancé start yelling at the officials that it’s not OPI.
  16. Not saying Chourio is out of the woods by any means, or even that his season might not be over, but an assessment from Jerry Augustine doesn’t make me any more or less concerned about it.
  17. There is no way the Cubs are feeling pretty good. Panicked? No, probably not, but they came in and got beaten soundly in Game 1.
  18. It depends what you can get. It’s still only a year of control. Burnes brought us Hall and Ortiz. It is hard to see it being more than that kind of comparable.
  19. On the plus side from what I can tell, it’s definitely a pro-Brewer crowd relative to how crowds usually go at Am-Fam. More Cub fans than the visiting team usually has of course, but definitely outweighing them by plenty.
  20. If you need to be up by 6 to trust Miz, what the heck is he doing on the playoff roster ?
  21. Can’t watch, did it look bad or is there any chance it’s more of a “precautionary with a big lead” type thing?
  22. Yelich has a 121 OPS+ which is exactly the same as Turang and Frelick is at 111. The difference between the 3 is far too insignificant to think that one is going to make a marked difference in the number of strikes that the #9 hitter sees. All are massive upgrades over Ortiz offensively, who I’m not sure whether we want to be seeing strikes or not. I also understand why Roberts has Ohtani leadoff, but I would argue that most managers probably would find that to not be optimal.
  23. We all do. There are a lot of Cub fans who live in Wisconsin. Disproportionate to most other teams. Particularly in the southeastern Wisconsin area. There is nothing we can do about that.
  24. How do you know that you’re selling to a Brewer fan? I just don’t understand where you’re always going with this. Are you going to interview them before selling to them and make them provide historical photos and videos of them in Brewer apparel actively cheering for the Brewers?
