  1. “Christian Yelichs’ initial timeline to return is mid to late May” So, around the All Star break.
  2. Not sure if this was discussed earlier - does his contract toll as scheduled regardless of when he’s brought up, whether it be this year or 2028 or anytime between then?
  3. It’s not about comments being liked or dislike. I absolutely encourage anyone to disagree with me. I think it’s more productive to the forum when actual debate takes place about it and not just a one off two, but I absolutely understand everyone has a right to their own opinions. If you noticed this posters’ posting habits, I think you’d know that the point that @TURBOwas making had nothing to do with his opinion being liked or disliked. And I know you know that there certainly was a time in the brewerfan.net days when repeatedly downvoting posts of certain posters not because of actual real-life disagreement, but just for the purpose of being repeatedly obnoxious, without any dialogue, would have been considered trolling behavior and would not have been tolerated in the long-term. Apparently times have changed indeed, and us longtime posters will just have to adjust.
  4. This is why I wanted to let things settle in for a few weeks before planning any parades.
  5. Not really, he’s like only the 3rd biggest problem in the outfield right now.
  6. If you did a YouTube search for “Joey Ortiz at bat” that last one would be the most descriptive of what you get.
  7. Lockridge has this weird cult following of people who think he’s good. His career OPS is south of .600. That’s worse than Joey Ortiz, by a lot. If we DFA’ed Lockridge tomorrow the interest would be sparse. He’s ahead of Perkins only because Perkins is actually in fact somehow worse.
  8. Yeah Murph, better get the bat in Rengifo’s hands. That should spark a rally.
  9. They really need to find a way to pull this off now.
  10. The early hook on Woodruff was really questionable and he paid for it.
  11. A wild pitch followed by a bad challenge. This team is on a bender.
  12. Turang not one of the struggling elements of the offense.
  13. Again, too hesitant to challenge. Vivas strikes out looking if someone taps their head and instead he’s on 2nd base a couple pitches later.
  14. Oh the arm is fine, strength wise. He just has no idea where it’s going to go.
  15. Yeah, our record isn’t too concerning, I mean we are on pace to be 80-60 after 140 games. More concerning right now is the way they’re swinging the bat. Ortiz is still Ortiz, we know what we got. The hole at 3B was never addressed. But the biggest problem is the outfield. Frelick is not swinging a good bat and Lockridge and Perkins are roster cloggers. We need Chourio back. If it weren’t for Garrett Mitchell, we’d likely be under .500.
  16. For a team that pinches as many pennies as we do, we paid a lot for a #5.
  17. Not an error, but more bad defense. Terrible throw from Lockridge.
  18. Yeah, I was just being more rhetorical than anything. Giving us fits this series.
  19. For a team that relies on defense to win, it’s no surprise that we’re on a 4 game losing streak for how bad the defense has been lately.
