I knew someone would have a "roll eyes" response like this to my post (in this era where some actually want PEDs to be legalized...I'll roll my eyes at that). But..you don't find anything odd about that? I wish I had taken a picture last Tuesday. It looked really bad. Colorado had 9 or 10 guys out on the 3rd base line stretching and doing sprints. The Brewers had 3. This seems to be common for every home game. I know for a fact that this was not the case 3+ years ago. I don't know how that's "nit picking". The home team gets the field first. Then they let the visiting team warm up afterwards. After the home team warms up they go back to the locker room, and do whatever warm ups they need to do in the tunnels down there. It's something that has been happening for... oh... 40 years, give or take. If you'd see the Brewers on the road and get in early, you'd see a lot more guys out there doing sprints and such.

Two questionable called strikes, and then a perfect down and in pitch for strike 3. I can't fault him for not swinging at a pitchers pitch if he thinks the MVP is coming up next.

I couldn't watch the post game presser, but I would've asked Ron one question: Did Rickie know Braun wasn't going to hit there? Was he told before he went up to the plate?

Well, for one, it wasn't two injuries, it was four. Braun, Ramirez, Hart, Green (who could've at least been the LH half of a platoon at 1B). Any team loses 3 all-star caliber players, their lineup takes a hit.

Isn't Prince a SS? He has to be better than Yuni. I can see the move, as Gonzo made the last out, but still. Ugh.

It would be nice to have our designated long man pitch more than one inning. Y'know. Since that's what he was stretched out to do.

They tried him there in the instructional league, he apparently couldn't handle it.

He's 20 years old. Had he stayed in college, he'd be a top 5 pick this year. We lost someone pretty darn good. 20 year olds don't average 15 and 8. They just don't.

It's half that, and half the stupidity of playing guys like him and Gonzalez at 1B who have no business there. Although I doubt Gonzalez just stands there on that one, but still would rather have an actual 1B on the roster. It's first base. It's an infield position. It is not rocket science. A guy should damn well know, from having played ON THE INFIELD for 20 years what he needs to do at each position on a given play. I am sure Gonzalez does. Yuni, on the other hand...

I don't think they gain anything from putting him on the 60 initially, so it's just standard procedure to start with the 15 day DL and iteratively add days as necessary They gain the spot on the 40 man.

First things first, are the speakers plugged in correctly, turned on, and can you test them with something else to be sure they are working (an ipod, or a radio, or anything).
