  1. Yelich was going. Every pitch. He beats that.
  2. Stupid worthless contact play.strikes again.
  3. Willy throwing a three hopper to first
  4. 660 OPS in August coming into tonight
  5. Uribe looks so effortless bringing it triple digits
  6. Players receive Major League service time for each day spent on the 26-man roster or the Major League injured list. It absolutely should be the case, you get hurt playing Major League baseball, it should count as your service time playing Major League Baseball.
  7. You're so confident of Hiura's skills. Over/under 1500 MLB hits in his career?
  8. Clearly the other guy you wanted was the better choice.
  9. Yes, clearly CCs fault that the guy he brought in throws 8 balls in ten pitches.
  10. Can't believe they didn't run there. If there is an out, Weimer on second in the 10th, Caratini leading off.
  11. There is a large group of people trying to start the wave in the top of the 9th of a tie game.
  12. Gimme a Rang! Gimme another Rang! What's that make? Turang!
  13. Looks to be June 17, 87 https://coffeyvillewhirlwind.wordpress.com/2006/12/20/game-65-minnesota-twins-37-27-milwaukee-brewers-32-28/
  14. I mean, the Angels didn't trade a franchise favorite player, pay half his salary then sign a worse player at the same position for more money....
  15. I am so done with the contact play with the infield in.
  16. At the game, did the initial reds pitcher get hurt this inning? He was warming up then got pulled without throwing a pitch
  17. If my math is right, that's 19-9 since they fell to .500 at 34-34. And they are about to do the equivalent of trading for a top ten pitcher in MLB in August when Woody comes back.
  18. Stupid David Cone can be added to the list. No, I'm not still bitter about 1992. Really. I'm not. I promise.
  19. I'd love to have someone take a modern look at the math... This is my favorite legendary.... Single https://shibevintagesports.com/blogs/news/17995628-40-years-ago-today-schmidt-hit-the-roof-of-the-astrodome
  20. Baseball is different from most other team sports. Baseball is a series of 1v1 interactions where you want to put the players in the best position to succeed. A whole lot of being a good manager in baseball is helping your players understand expectations and how team success comes before individual opportunity. In other team sports, it's about making the right play so your teammate can succeed, or buying in to team success over individual success, not just individual opportunity. It's a totally different conversation to tell someone "You don't get to hit lefties" compared to, "you can't jump that slant route when we're in cover two"
