  1. Oakland taking playing possum to a whole new level.
  2. Some of my favorite tips: On hot days (or any day, really), the Selig Experience in the LF corner on the 200 level is a nice break from the game, a bit of Brewers history and, maybe most importantly, air conditioned. You can bring in almost anything food and drink wise, except alcohol. Lots of history to see around the outside of the stadium. There is a plaque in the brewers 1 lot, marking where #755 landed. There is the original home plate from County Stadium, along with a monument to the 1950's Braves just north of Helfaer field. The Brewers Wall of Honor is on the 3B side wall, near the LF corner entrance The Brewers Walk of Fame is around the OF concourse outside the stadium
  3. They did this in Seattle when I was there in '16. It was wonderful.
  4. One of my angriest moments as a Brewers fan involved Brian Shouse. https://www.baseballprospectus.com/news/article/8077/prospectus-today-justice-in-milwaukee/ Also, Shouse got credited for the loss in a 2006 game I attended in St Louis. He faced 1 hitter, intentionally walked him, then Coco Cordero blew the save. https://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/MIL/2006-schedule-scores.shtml
  5. Just to reiterate this point, Keston had the 4th worst Zone Contact % of any hitter with over 150PA's according to Fangraphs.
  6. I absolutely hate recruiters that cold call me. Does this actually work? Email me with the job description. Don't call me and ask, "Well, I'm looking at your resume, what are you looking for?" I've been doing virtually the same job for 10 years. What the heck do you think I'm looking for, you sleezy salesman?
  7. Not sure where you're located, Jimbo, but I know Blast Cleaning Technologies in Milwaukee is always looking to hire good people. Also, I've heard through the grapevine that Milwaukee tool is about to do a big expansion into the Sun Prairie area over the next 6 months or so.
  8. I really enjoyed Resident Alien season 1 with Alan Tudyk.
  9. Is it running the latest OS? Is it overheating? https://www.firesticktricks.com/fix-firestick-buffering.html

    Pizza

Non-Frozen pizza variety... Tried this out, and it was amazing: https://www.seriouseats.com/foolproof-pan-pizza-recipe
  11. Very fair to be disappointed with the ending, and in a lot of ways, the last season. Outstanding series, but the last season felt beneath the quality they did before that. The last season happened during the writers strike which is why it was shorter episode-wise as well as not as good as the other seasons.
  12. Goodbye binary! Hello tertiary or quaternary! One of my engineering professors told us that the person that could invent a computer that ran on more than two states would be very rich! I visited the four corners with my cel phone, does that count?
  13. Couple things I've gotten hooked on lately: For All Mankind - Halfway through the first season diving into how things at NASA (and in the US, I suppose) might've been different had the Soviets gotten to the moon first. Really interesting thought exercise and I've been enjoying it so far (it doesn't hurt that I'm a NASA/Space enthusiast) Avatar, The Last Airbender - a mid 2000's Nickelodeon cartoon. Hooked me from the first two episodes and enjoyed it through all 3 seasons.
  14. A PS4 is definitely one of those things I'd look to buy used.
  15. The market is absolutely nuts in and around Madison, the need for student housing and the explosion of the tech industry has caused a huge housing shortage - people keep buying up homes and renting them - and there's always push back when trying to build any sort of large apartment complexes to help alleviate the crunch. Have two family members who looked for 6 months, one decided to just build a new house, the others are still looking and it's been nearly a year (they are waiting on the "right deal for the right place" They got an apartment in Waunakee instead of staying in the northwoods over the winter because places are up less than a few days usually. It's been that way for over a year now.

    Pizza

I've heard of NY style and Chicago style... but what is Detroit style? Tastes like defeat? It's pan pizza, Rocky Rococo style. As for pizza for breakfast:

  21. MLB.tv blocks 98% of VPNs and actively block new IP addresses. As does the NBA.tv package.
  22. That show was much better than it had any right to be. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The relentless positivity is something I definitely needed in 2020.
  23. The Boys.

    Pizza

I'm a big fan of Lalli's pizza on 89th and North in Milwaukee. Other favorites include, Pizzeria Scottie's for deep dish and Taratino's for a solid thin crust.
