  1. Cooked 100 wings pregame. Ate with friends. Drove to the lot. I'm ready. This is gonna be fun
  2. The fixed plans get a bigger discount than the fan's choice. That is displayed on the chart. Edit: Also, the %Saved number is a complete misnomer as it is the "maximum amount saved based on Demand based pricing" So, basically, the demand based pricing kicks in 5 times a season and the ticket costs go up, that's how they get that number.
  3. "bleachers guy imploring everyone to start The Wave" tops all of that. especially if it's a close game and/or the Brewers are batting This. Game 2 of the NLDS there was a couple of clowns to the right of my wife and I trying this. Sadly there was a couple of clowns in the group right in front of us who agreed it was a good idea. Luckily they quickly realized everybody else wanted to watch the baseball game. My buddy is adamant they lost game 2 because the fans did the stupid wave during the game.
  4. "Hey, you go to Brewers games, you have any extra World Series tickets for me and my friends?" No, my dear Aunt, Cousin, acquaintance and even co-worker. If I have extra World Series tickets, I'm most definitely not selling them to you for face value so you can bring people I don't even know to the game.
  5. MLB is taking about 25% of the tickets. You might have a chance, but it will be slim. And it may only be single tickets.
  6. Ok, believe what you gotta believe. I'd say the results bear that out as opposed to a belief. How did Houston manage to win the World series last year then? How did the Royals make the series in 2014? How did the 1990s Braves not win more than one?
  7. Favre is the only guy who had a HoF level WR on his team. Freeman, Brooks, Driver, Sharpe, Javon Walker, Chmura, Ahmann Green. I mean, nostalgia is what it is, but I'd take that group over Jordy, Jennings, Driver, Cobb, Adams, Finley(?) and... who at RB? I mean, I have no idea.
  8. How ironic for him to carry us into the postseason to pretty much be a dumpster fire to knock us out. Let's be fair, it's been the entire offense, 1-6 (aside from Shaw) that has been utterly horrible this series. Aguilar: .267 OBP, .695 OPS Braun: .278 OBP, .611 OPS Cain: .238/.583 Yelich: .350/.538 Moose: .167/.284 You just can't have that many hitters struggling that much and hope to score runs.
  9. Yeah, they are saving your SSH refund to put towards the World Series ticket bill, basically.
  10. Yeah, things like that never happen. Except, you know, the Dodgers did it just last year in the World Series. Losing that 13-12 game then coming out and beating Verlander the next day.
  11. ARod bunted 9 times for a hit in his career. 0 times for a double. Arcia is a better bunter. Fact.
  12. It's still 6.5 hours until first pitch. I'm not sure I can make it that long.
  13. That's so awesome dude. I'm going to be at both 6 and 7 (if they happen). Would love to talk shop.
  14. Knebel only threw 19 pitches, and he's used to going on back-to-back nights, so I would think he's 100% good to go. Hader threw 8, so I'm sure he's available if needed as well. It might be for a LOOGY-type situation, though, rather than his typical multi-inning stint. I'm sure they are going to want to get through this game without going to Jeffress, but he only threw 21 pitches, too, so he will also be available if needed. Pretty sure JJ will be unavailable after throwing 3 out of 4 days, 11, 21 and 28 pitches.
  15. Of course they did. The longer they have your money, the more interest they make off of it.
  16. Kiké Hernandez was not happy with the Dodgers faithful yesterday:
  17. Wait, oh yeah, he actually did. But, I'm sure you want him fired too.
  18. Wow, what a "What's the point?" deal. Player acquisition in the NBA is so weird. And stupid. An additional 2nd round pick when, supposedly, highschoolers will once again be available to be drafted isn't a bad thing for taking on no salary.
  19. If this is true, that is awesome. It was a pretty good article, but the basics of it were, Yeli started talking to him about how his timing mechanism (his leg kick) was off, and he needed to get his leg down sooner and Arcia started working on that with Coles.
  20. Yep. Never suggested. Not in the least. Please explain how that contradicts what I'm saying about him needing more rest. It was a stubborn, forced move by CC and he nearly had an all-time Bill Buckner of managers moment there. You literally suggested benching him for Oliver Drake.
