  1. Edit: Somehow missed the full list posted. Only 11 pitchers is a bit surprising for me considering how much they love their bullpen and matchups. I think Miley gets his shot in Coors, because of the "Coors effect" and cutters and sliders being the more effective pitches at Coors. https://www.baseballprospectus.com/news/article/20069/baseball-proguestus-which-pitch-types-work-best-at-coors-field/
  2. As of yesterday that wasn't the case. I checked yesterday and all 3 games were 100% sold out. So clearly the team kept some on the side and now made them available. Yep. Had friends who signed up for season tickets (for next year) this week, they got better NLDS seats than I did as a 10 year SSH in the same section (Terrace Box)
  3. It doesn't matter if he stopped it. He did that in order to prevent it. That's interference. Baez has no idea if the hitter fell down running to first.
  4. If interference is committed by a runner with the obvious intent of preventing a double play, the batter-runner will be called out in addition to the runner who committed the interference.
  5. How is that not interference?
  6. That would be pretty bad-ass if someone pretended to be hurt so they could become legend.
  7. Seriously just watch the statcast broadcast. The espn one is unwatchable. Had no idea! Thanks!
  8. The hyperbole from the announcers this game is just... I can't even.
  9. I've used them. If you're looking to get out of there quickly, a shuttle is not the way to go unless you plan to rush over to the pickup spot as soon as the game is over (while frantically searching for exactly where your shuttle might be amongst the 50+ lined up at the pickup spot) I've found myself, more and more often, parking on Wisconsin/Wells and walking down to the stadium. 20 minute walk. No hassle leaving.
  10. He was AL Manager of the year in 2017. Absolutely crazy.
  11. Much love. Much joy. Celebrate and remember.
  12. Too risky. Not a sure thing that would go foul. Take the out, be happy. Chacin was running. He was out by 15 steps.
  13. I don't think audio is ever subject to blackout, so I would imagine WTMJ should still come through. The only "official" streaming option is through espn with a verified account. The typical mlb.tv stream will be blacked out for everyone (blackout rules had a specific line item for the tiebreaker game). My plan is to see what google can help me find in a bout an hour using the recommendations from yesterdays IGT. Reddit is usually a great help for things like this.
