The problem in my opinion is it could co either way right now. We need to access the situation around the July 31st deadline & move foward. The names that we would really be looking at are Cameron, Kendall, Hoffman & possibly JJ. I dont think we would get much with Kendall & we would be selling JJ very low right now. Hoffman & Cameron could be possiblites. I dont want to be like the White Sox "White Flag trade" of 97 ( although they did get 2 good bullpen arms back). If we just hold out a bit longer everything will fall in place.
I know Guthrie seems like he has only pitched a few years but he just turned 30. I think he had some arm problems at the end of the year & got hammered at the end of the year. Imo he is no better than Looper. As far as second baseman I think they have Brian Roberts tied up for a few more years. Now if we could get both of them. Im all for it. I would rather take my chances with Davis.
Im trying to think a bit out of the box. 2B Hernan I--- He has it pretty much everywhere he has been, Its time to see if he can make it or if he is going to be a quad A guy. Not a great baserunner but better than some of our options. 3B McGhee.----I think ge could be a Lyle Overbay type hitter(Lyle of the brewers past). I think he will be able to hit .290 with gap power. 1B Fielder LF Braun RF Hart CF Cameron SS Hardy-- To me, Hardy,Hart & Cameron are interchangable depending on the hot hand. C Kendall P Pitcher
I would love to see Josh Johnson from the Marlins. I dont think they would bite. I think we will end up with Jeremy Guthrie, or Doug Davis or Jarrod Washburn.
I did not watch the Brewer game to watch TV's top 50 catchphrases. I was waiting for wachu talkin about Willis & Dy-no-mite. Those were the top ones I could think of. They did not make the top 50. Im a little disappointed.
Pyznarski came out of San Diego. The only guys with B that came out of Baltimore that I can think of are Juan Bell & Rich Becker. Speaking of Rich Becker did we just release him? He had a .385 obp with us.
I did try a converter box but that did not change anything. I live in Antigo. I talked to a few people around are house & they told me the stations are not at full signal yet. The stations are about 35 miles away & one is 45 miles away. I guess we have one in town but I do not receive that either however I don't know if they are operational yet. But I received the signal just fine on Feb 16th & before. It seems once they turned the analog signal off the problems started. It just seems strange that all the signals would not be at full strength once they turned the analog signal off. I still receive PBS in both in analog & digital.
I need some help. I have 2 TV's that are dtv ready. Ones located in my bedroom & one is located in our living room. Pre February 17th I had no problems getting digtal stations. The only one I could not get was NBC in my bedroom. Well the big day came & everything was fine until I came home from work. I recieve PBS fine on both TV's. According to the DTV website I should get 5 stations just fine with out any problems. I have tried different indoor antenas, I have tried repositioning my antennas. I have tried rescanning at least one time per day. I have called the local stations(who figured it could be the area I am located). I called the DTV hotline, who told me this is early into the transition just keep rescanning everyday & by June 12th they should come in. I have tried aluminum foil on the end of my antenna. I tried amplified & non amplified antenna. I have tried flat multi dirctional and rabbit ears. I know a few others with this same problem in my area. I just dont understand why it would work pre 2-17 & not after. Im afaraid I am going to have to get an outdoor antenna. Any suggetions?
1. Sal Bando. I think he was a free agent when we picked him up. At least Larry Hisle at one great year for the Crew. Bando would up hanging around the front office until he wound up ruining the decade of the 90's for Brewer fans. 2. Teddy H. Agree with Pepsi on this one.(by the way I cant believe he is 50) 3. Jeffery Hammond. 4. Franklin Stubbs 5. Sean Berry As far as the whole Suppan thing goes , he gets a bad rap because of the large amont. I was not thrilled with the signing espically the amount & number of years. He has been for the most part healthy, going out every 5th day and putting out average to slightly below average numbers. Its not like he is getting blown out every game. Stubbs & Berry put up just horid numbers. While he is not the best free agent signing he would not be in my top 5 worst signings. I think we were looking at Jason Schmidt the same year we signed Suppan. That would have ened up a big bust.
I would like to try to lock Hart up to a multi year contract right now. I could be wrong but both Hart & Braun had over 100 at bats from the previous season. I think thats why they both hit a wall in September.
Ok Im the wimp of the crowd. My heat sits somewhere in the 40's. In high school I think I touched 60 a few times. I had no good pitches what so ever. I tried throwing a curve many times & only once saw it curve. Could throw a screwball if the wind was on my side. I cant even make a wiffle ball curve anymore. I tried throwing one at my son & hit him. We were using moms van as a backstop so all was good.
My Ex Brewer Guess: Randy Ready Because its trendy to have a back catcher guess: John Mizerock Oldie but a goodie guess: Jimy Williams Out of left field guess: Carlos Tosca Really out of left field guess: Tom Prince Actual guess: Jim Tracy
