Im just wondering if anyone has any horrible cutomer service stories. My wife thought I was going to bust a blood vessel yesterday. I switched cellphone carriers. Cellphone carrier B asked me if I wanted my old number. I said sure. He asked me when my contract rand out with carrier A. I told him about a month. He said he would get it changed at that time. Well a rep from carrier B called my wife & changed the number the same day I got the cell phone. Not thinking when she told me this I went on with my day. A month goes by. I look at mey cellphone bill from A & I have a 400 dollar charge(200 per line) from having the phone cancelled. I explained to the first rep that while I have no problem paying the last month of my bill & even a pro rated fee but I do have a problem with a 400 fee for my phone being cancelled & not living up to my end of the contract. I was getting a little heated.I did not cuss but told her they would not recieve 400 & if they really wanted they could send me to collections. I regretted making that statement because I dont want to make threats. I was in somewhat of a mood because I had woke up early due to surguy my son was having which went well, but I was tired. I asked to talk to a supervisor. I calmed my self down & tried to rememeber its not the person on the other ends fault by the time the supervisor came on. So we went thru the whold story again. He said I sorry you did not live up to your end of the contract & you cancelled our service. I told him carrier b cancelled my service, not me. He told me I own the number & when my wife gave them permisson to change numbers,it was as good as cancelling it. I again told him I have no problem paying that last month of service to live up to the contract plus wouldnt it make good business sense to make a courtsey call. In which his reply was"why should we , we had already lost you business ,it makes no sense for us to do that" Starting to get heated again I stated if just not seem very ethical to me in which he had to disagree. Not getting anywhere I aske to speak to his supervisor. He stated he was the supervisor. I told him I would like the person above him in which he stated they were not there. I told him I wanted there voicemail. He responed by saying okeydoke in which time I was cut off the line. By now I was livid , but I tried to remain calm when calling back. I asked for the rep I was talking too & was told there reps are all around the U.S. I explained my story again to the rep on the line while driving down to carrier B. She put me on hold long enough to explain the situation to carrier b. Carrier B told me to try to get hooked up for the last month of the contract so I could fulfill it.. The rep for A did come on the line & did waive the fee & told me to pay the last month of the bill. Now the funny part is I am a phone service rep my self & I cant stand it when people get so worked up & cuss.I have only hung up on one person & that was after he called me a nasty name. Granted I did get worked up & the conract was broke but I paid 3 years & 11 months & I had no problem paying that last month & even some sort of prorated fee. What do you guys think? Was I out of line? Do any of you have any cutomer service issues like this or others.

Let see, To Grissom:I sceamed at Marquis Grissom for not running one out to first, I think I yelled , Grissom, Hamlin could have beat you to first in a quarter of the time it took you. To Royster; Connie Mack has better managieral skills from where he is than you do. Albert Belle; The ever so famous Joooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I think a creative blurb or two or a simple boo is fine. I dont think it should get real personal & it should not go on & on & on. I just rememeber Tony Phillips going into the stands after someone about 12 or 13 years ago at County Stadium & confronting them. Just my opinion but if a player comes in the stand at you , more than likely you went too far & you deserved it.

I believe Jennie Zelasko has also been diagnosed with that same type.

Occasionally with less knowledgeable Brewer fans, I will make up a fun little lie to see if they believe it (Like telling someone they need winter air in their tires, or they are out of turn signal fluid) I tell people that Russ Bryanon is an icon in Wisconsin. Oh wait. Nevermind. My worst sports lie has to be when I went to bar in Green Bay & starterd introducing my self as Tim Hauck(safety for the Packers ) to a few ladies whom might have had a ginger ale or two that night. My friend (lets just call him Don Davey) & I has a few ginger ales ourselves. After about a half a dozen or so, Tony Bennett(Linebacker, not the singer, coach or basketball player) walked in. I thought it would be really swell to intoduce myself to him. Unfortuntly I played the part so well I forgot who I really was & gave him my alias for the night. I will never do that again anytime soon.

Hopefully no one is going to the vesectomy doctor soon. While I did not throw up, I felt darn close. Good ol doc finished one side & with the exception of the injection I felt nothing on the first side. Well he injects the other side, & starts going to work. I feel cutting & I yip. He injects more , this went on for about 3 more time which he followed up by "its swimming in antesia theres nothing more I can do. I dug my fingers into the bed while he went to town, next thing I know I feel tremendous pain in my junk all the way into my upper gut. I screamed & jumped while he was working. I think it was like a little girl scream too. He got really mad at me & told me he had never had anyone have such an outburst in his office. I told him Im sorry but it hurts. He said I know it hurts but now I wound up cutting more than what I want to. I decided to become a smart alec while I was on the table in which my response was . How in the heck do you know it hurts, you told me you never could have kids. Nothing like throwing that right out when he has to finish & sew me back up. I gutted the rest out. Doc would not give me any pain medication plus when he put my underwear back on , he put it around my ankles. Normally this is not a problem but I could hardly walk much less than bend over. as if this is not bad enough Im waiting for 20 minutes after the ordeal for my wife to get me. Everyone starts closing up the place so I hobble over to the window to see my wife parked in the furtest spot in an empty parking lot. Another puke story. I was playing ball in legion ball. Some one walked inbetween the catcher & pitcher warming up on the opposing team. the catcher was throwing it back when it clipped I kid in the temple. Rumor had it he was throwing up blood on the field. A rescue squad came took him a way. The opposing coach came over & gave our coach the lineup card. Our coach asked him if he wanted to rescedule the game. He did not really see why so our coach decided to forefit the game. . I was happy, the all star game was on that night. Turned out the kid spent all night in critcical condition but did get better & wond up being realeased within 2 days.

So I have been colectiong cards for a while (28 years this year, seriously for 24 years). Once in a while I would get one with a mashed corner or creased right out of the pack. It usually a decent player too. I opened a pack of 2007 topps update today. Normally I would have been happy with the few rookies & the Damion Easley autograph but under the autograph was a 2007 all star game stiches A-Rod that was creased. I was curious if anyone ever complained to a card company & if the company did anything. Just curious to see if anyone got any where or if I would just be wasting my time complaining.

Wally(Marci's Husband) never gets the job at the toy company & turns to selling crack on the street.He later gets caught, gets 12 year prison sentence while Marcia ends up living in cabrni green with her kids. Bobby dies in turn 4 of Talledaga during his premier race in Nascar. Jan & Phillip divorce. After her divorce she is no longer seen by family & friends. Neigbors report a strange smell coming from her apartment, however when police find her she has 127 cats roaming free in her apartment. Cindy's lisp comes back & she is ridiculed by 12 year olds as a server at Shakeys. Peter marries a trashy model, half his age who convinces him to do realty shows while their marriage is on the rocks.

I hate that Fox shows Mike Martz during the game more than there coach. I hate that one of the women at work suddenly is watching my every move, ready to report me for anything at anytime. I hate that my wife can get cranky anytime she would like and it is fully acceptable but if I get a tad touchy Im a jerk & Im a dont see the glass half full kind of guy. I hate after thanksgiving day sales that advertise some great deals but they only have 5 or 6 of that item in stock. Okay I feel a touch better now.

Not that my situation is that similar because I have not been fired & I like the place that I work. A few years ago one of my better friends was hired for a higher position in our department which was never posted. Both her & I have the qualifications but it was just given to her . I think I could rest easier if I would have had the chance & was turned down. I never said a lot(although my feelings are known more about this now than I let on then.) because I did not want to hurt a friend. Now a once former employee(worked their thru high school & some of college) has been hired back to manage an office. Again no posting however the policy manuel has changed saying they do not need to post the job internally. When I questions my supervisor & HR about this, I recived comments back as, we assumed you did not want a management position, you have no management expierence(which no one must have looked at my resume because thats all I had before I moved to this company plus employee a fresh out of college has none either), & you may have to move down to move further up. I do like my job , I get good raises, I work with some good people, but I dont feel any trust on any special projects or any other responcibilites other than what I have. Maybe I am going thru a mid life crisis.Well I guess I get the last laugh because they are paying for my counselling.

Weren't we interested in Barrett a few years ago but he decided to go to the Cubs instead? I think when he was with the Expos we were looking at trading Luis Vizcaino for him. That was after Vizcaino's incredible year. I think Barrett was then traded to the A's & to the Cubs a few days later. (I believe he was traded for Damian Miller)

Wierd Al is coming to my neck of the woods next week & I debated about going. I think I might give it a try. Would my 11 year old son be to young to attend? Speaking from expierence: Just let it be. If it is meant to happen it will happen. If not ,you will probally fall madly in love in someone else.

I just said what came to mind. It lasted about 3 or 4 minutes.I made fun of the groom , I made fun of myself, told an embarssing story but not too bad. The crowd laughed. I then gave a toast in all seriousness. wished them all the best & then called it a night.

I have fighting my weight pretty much all my life. I have bobbed up & down my whole life. My lowest weight was about 167 when I was around 20 to 21 years old after being 235 2 or 3 years before. Then I got married & got into my comfort zone & went up to 290 by the time I was about 26 or 27. I got down to 240 when we moved but after we moved back up to 275. after a blood preasure scare down to 205. slowly ( about 3 years) of not exercising has hard went up to 255 . Got into a weight loss competition , got down to 220. Last winter got some sort of mystery illness ( my guess is a sinus infection which possibly caused sleep apnia) in which I felt rundown all the time, many body aches & just felt plain yuchy for about 5 months. did not exercise, ate more than what I should have & was 260 in the beginning of the year.Now after another wight loss competition I am down to 220. I know their is no magic pill. I have to exercise & watch what I eat. I have done it plenty of times . I take the dog for a mile walk in the morning & I follow that up with the exercize bike for 20 min. & 20 situps. I try to take mile walk in the afternoon with 20 more min of the exercise bike & 20 situps at night after my kids go to bed. I may mix that up with a one mile jog & lifting weights with my upper body 3 days a week.12 reps 3 times a day.I also bike to work during the summer(about one mile) however will have to stop when school starts up. My diet consist of a breakfast of green tea , yougurt & a dan active for breakfast but might mix that up with blueberry oatmeal or cereal & juice. I usally have an applesauce or peice of fruit with some water mid morning & a water a sandwitch & snack for lunch (anything from fruit to dry ceareal) & a water. My supper is waht ever my wife makes but I work on my portion control. Thinks like getting a salad before my supper so I feel more full espically if we have pizza(my favorite). When I first lost my weight in my early 20's I learned that I eat when I am bored. The other day I was very stressed at work & went around from to each cube to look for food . Thats when it dawned on me I have a emional connection to food also. I seems when it turns around November I stop taking the dog for a walk & my weight just soars.It bugs me to know that winter is coming & I could have to work this hard all over again. My wife likes to stock up on chocolate & soda. So far I have not had any soda this summer. My goal is to stay at 190 to 195. My height is at 5'10 to 5'11. Any suggetions espically durring the winter months.

Why not just kick it old school with NyQuil? NyQuil will put me out like a light but I am usally wide awake by 2AM & wont start feeling sleepy until about 4AM & by that time I have to be up in one or two hours. My wife once gave me 2 Nyquil daytimes for at work. On in the morning & one for around noon. I was a loan officer at the time & just feeling awful as I was neeting with member one after another so I decided to double up around 10 because I forgot my morning one. By 10:30 I could barely keep my eyes open.Yep she gave me nighttime. I was home asleep by noon.

No, but I did consider a citzens arrest (after I got my autographaphs ) Im guessing he will be siging all over the state of Wisconsin until that is over. On a side note James Best (Sheriff Roscoe P Coltrain) will be at the Chucks game in July.

He was at the Wausau Woodchucks game. did not really chat with anyone just moved them thru as quick as possible. Took a picture with the kids in front of me but was in a hurry. Not that he was mean but just wanted to get everyone thru the line I guess. When I met Scott Wimmer a few years ago(NASCAR Nextel Cup driver at the time) , I asked if he would mind a picture with my son, he said no problem got down on his knee and was trying to talk to my son(who was very shy). He made a little small talk with me & signed 5 or 6 items for us. The guy in front of me has like 10 or 12 & he happily signed those too. Although he is a Wausau native. On the plus side Rollie did sign a ball right on the sweet spot for me & when he threw out the 1st pitch is was right down the middle.

Cant really think of the first one with swearing but Sixteen Candles was the first one I saw that gets a R for another reason (and it was not graphic violence).

Do they just go door-to-door? You'd think someone (or their pet dogs) would hear them sooner than later. The police said they hit at least 2 other houses that are close + my neighbor said she heard someone outside at around midnight in her backyard but when she looked outside she did not see anything. The police figures it was kids simply because when we started recalling where everything was they could have got more. She had her car keys next to her purse & 2 digital cameras by the cell phone charging.. By the way my lab did not make a sound. I was a little ticked last night & I strung fishing line(20 lb) all over the deck. I was waiting but nothing. I will take it down so the kids dont get hurt but it seemed brilliant last night.
