  1. Must be nice to know that. You can take the game off then. No reason watching a for sure loss. It's called a "prediction". Hopefully this prediction ages as well as your Bucks predictions did ;-)
  2. Nice to see a bit of optimism on the board today. We all know "Hope springs attorney" at BF.net so it's nice to put the last 2 games behind us and get a better result today.
  3. Seeing a rumor that Soler is out with COVID...that would be an interesting development...
  4. I would still give the Dodgers at least 50-50 odds of advancing.
  5. I still would want my #1 in an elimination game. Does no use in game 5 if you don’t win game #4. Also, CC Sabathia is rolling in his grave (I know he’s alive) at this short rest talk… If CC were alive he would have taken over in the 5th inning, threw a shutout the rest of the way, and then started game 4 to close the series out. Maybe I have a different memory but I seem to recall CC throwing for us on short rest and then getting lit up in a playoff game that was over before it started?
  6. I still would want my #1 in an elimination game. Does no use in game 5 if you don’t win game #4. Also, CC Sabathia is rolling in his grave (I know he’s alive) at this short rest talk… It's 2 elimination games. They both matter exactly the same. What configuration gives us the best chance of winning both?
  7. The whole point of having pitching depth is so you don't have to use Burnes on short rest tomorrow.
  8. If there was ever a time for Christian Yelich to do something...
  9. Adames' swing is resembling the round of golf he's going to be playing next week.
  10. The TBS broadcast said 0 for 15, which is now 0 for 16 after Cain struck out.
  11. Hasn't hit the mitt once, but still seems to hit the zone almost every time. Maddening. Doesn't that describe 90% of hard-throwing relief pitchers in MLB these days?
  12. .275 is a pretty good batting average these days. This team has two guys with an OPS over .800 and zero with an OPS over .900. Zero elite hitters of any kind. They are depending on a bunch of .700-something OPS guys to come up with crucial hits against a quality postseason opponent.
  13. I see no upside to Burnes starting tomorrow. You still have to win game 5.
  14. There's a big difference between an awful decision and a debatable decision that backfires.
