  1. Too early to give up on this game. Maybe Knebel can get us out of this.
  2. Not a popular opinion but I’m fine with Sogard leading off. He was on 3 times yesterday. It’s been a long time since he had that big slump with the Brewers. Holt apparently stepped on a baseball...
  3. Correct answer. The season is over in 2 months. How long will it take to get the daily case count down to a reasonable number? The NFL can say whatever they want but the next time there will be fans in the stands in the US will be sometime in early 2021.
  4. Arcia is the only Brewer without a hit today...LOL.
  5. My only disappointment is that we only get to watch this Cubs bullpen for 60 games.
  6. Yeah I assume that was in response to the HR. It just took Suter about 3 minutes to pitch the 6th
  7. Cubs fan? Suter has been solid. Unless you were making a joke. I missed it. I enjoy watching him pitch. Too bad about the HR but I posted prior to that.
  8. I predict a big day for the offense. Brewers will win this one.
  9. There was the first strike called a ball thanks to poor framing.
  10. [sarcasm]After that painful exit in the Wild Card game it felt like this offseason dragged on way longer than usual.[/sarcasm]
  11. This could have been resolved by making the lower seed (or at least the 6-7-8) win all 3 games to advance out of the first round. I'll take a gimmicky postseason this year though since it should help the Brewers get in and have a chance at an upset.
  12. I think it's the right thing to do in a 60-game season with an unbalanced schedule.
  13. More teams in the playoffs please, this is a one-off season so why not have fun with it?
  14. There is a limit to the number of times the password can be used simultaneously. I think the number is 5 or less for most providers now.
  15. I closely follow 2 MLB teams, 1 in-market and 1 out-of-market. There's literally no option for me except the bootlegged feeds, which have greatly improved in reliability and quality in recent years.
  16. This thread made me realize I haven't watched any live TV since before the pandemic. The last time was probably part of a Bucks game sometime in February. I agree with your comment, I would drop the $60 for MLB.tv in a second if there were no blackouts. I don't want any other live TV or live sports or anything, just MLB. It's kind of amazing that the regional sports network model hasn't collapsed yet. Instead they get $0 from me, I watch less baseball than I would otherwise, and when I watch baseball it will be on some sort of bootlegged stream.
  17. Have people in Wisconsin learned how to properly zipper merge yet? From what I remember, everyone would get over about a mile ahead of time and then throw a fit if you tried to follow proper zipper merging protocol. And just not letting people merge in general including speeding up to block them. If I've learned anything from the current situation it's that commuting 45 min 2x/day at the exact same time as everyone else was an incredible waste of time. Now I spend my AM commute time on a leisurely walk to the coffee shop and go for a run or bike ride immediately after work.
  18. We use Instacart for most grocery shopping, even before COVID it was an incredible deal in terms of time and convenience but now with eliminating the risk of going to grocery stores it's even better. The other day I quick dropped in he grocery store late in the evening and ended up impulse buying about $50 worth of stuff I didn't need. I assume we will eventually have smart kitchens that automatically manage food inventory...as someone who hates shopping that day can't come soon enough.
  19. Getting back to the school topic, my niece’s summer program is now in a 10-day shutdown because of a suspected COVID case from one of the staff. You can imagine what the odds are of finding someone to watch your kid when she’s at home because of suspected COVID exposure. Seems like this is a preview of what will happen with schools this fall—a complete nightmare for parents.
