  1. I don't want to jinx it but I'm convinced this team is going to win it all. I'm sure somebody will take them to a longer series but right now the Bucks are the best team by far. Nobody can stop them.
  2. That's odd. When he's dialed in he mashes anything thrown in the strike zone, regardless of count or situation. He's not a guess hitter, he sees and reacts.
  3. It's always the SS. I enjoyed watching Yuni B play, he wasn't very good but always had a smile on his face. Had some clutch hits as well.
  4. I would give them a few more weeks at least. If it's May 9th then maybe. Aguilar looks really frustrated up there, gotta let him work through it.
  5. I'm so happy for Tony Bennett and his family. What a game and what a tournament run. [Yes...the replay review overturn was dumb...]
  6. It's nice for west coast Brewers fans like myself to have a rare game at a normal time Especially with the Mariners being in central time right now so I don't have my usual late evening baseball to watch.
  7. I wouldn't give up on any game that involves the Cubs' bullpen. I'm not watching anymore but definitely keeping an eye on the game to see if they get a rally going.
  8. We have one of the best owners in all of pro sports.
  9. Tonight might have gotten Giannis a few more MVP votes.
  10. I can't wait to feast on the Cubs' bullpen this weekend.
  11. This isn't a baseball thing, attendance is down across the board in live sports. I think the biggest difference in recent years is that nobody has the time to go to games anymore. Especially on weeknights. Then you add in the cold weather and 20-30 minutes additional time per game since the 80s. I went to one weeknight game last year and probably wouldn't do it again unless I had the following day off or something. And I don't even have kids. TV viewership is completely the opposite, I almost never watch baseball on weekends, only weeknights.
  12. I think Gard is a fine coach and I don't want to blame him for the current situation. He's doing exactly what was expected. But having tasted true success for a few years, I'm no longer satisfied with the typical Bo Ryan 4th place season. I want a coach who is going to consistently lead them on deep tournament runs. They just don't have very many good players and there is no indication that more are coming. At the very least they need to shuffle the assistants. If the Wisconsin job was truly open there would be a long line of highly qualified candidates. Wisconsin has enough of a reputation to get a top tier coach. If 2020 is a repeat of 2019 I would pull the plug.
  13. The Reds' plan was already a success before the season even started. They generated a ton of buzz. They don't need to win a single game for it to have worked.
