  1. There is no way Kemp doesn't win MVP if he wins the triple crown. It's such a rare thing that I think the voters wouldn't be able to say no. But if he only take 2 out of 3 categories, then Braun has to get the award. You could argue that Braun is better than Kemp offensively this year anyway (wOBA), and without the triple crown the voters aren't going to give it to a player on a sub .500 team.
  2. "I told Ronny, you move me to the #1 spot in the lineup and you're gonna win the division" - Corey Hart

  4. Uecker is getting me really choked up. There is a lot of emotion in his voice. All the interviews are full of a ton of feeling.
  5. they never do...i went to MLB network. I'm hoping they'll cut back to Milwaukee if the Cubs hold on. So far so good. They gotten better about sticking around after big games. EDIT: I think I spoke too soon. Maybe I can get the radio feed on Sirius.

  7. "The Brewers could win their first division title in 29 years." That would be swell.
  8. That was awesome. I'm really jealous of everyone at the game. Goosebumps.
  9. Bonafacio hits pretty good for a guy whose helmet is covered in powdered sugar.
  10. The Brewers need to score some more runs, because these runners aren't going to be stranded every inning.
  11. Nats announcers say insane statistic that Tim Hudson 143-2 in his career when his team scores 3+ runs. That can't be right? That's crazy. The Marlins are going to stirke out a bunch. That's my prediction for tonight.
  12. Juan Carlos Oviedo isn't that great of a closer anyway.

  14. They should have gone with the futuristic 1985 red block lettering. http://electricmedia.info/uploadfiles/cameragadgetsimplycom-1295725987/14-things-from-back-to-the-future-ii-that-actually-came-true-and-5-that-haven-t-yet_5.jpg

  16. I'm with you FoxyFoxes, I have worked through all 5 stages of Yuni B and Casey McGehee this year. 1.Denial 2. Anger 3. Bargaining 4. Depression 5. Acceptance I truly have accepted them being in the lineup. The Brewers are one of 3 90 win teams so far this year and they did it despite some below average hitters. Does that make it ok? Probably not, but I'm certainly not surprised when I see their names penciled in the 5/6 or 6/7 spots in the lineup day after day. Ease into acceptance fellow brewer fans, because there is nothing else to do.
  17. I can't force myself to root for the Cardinals, at least until we clinch. Until then, go Brewers and boo DBacks.
  18. Oh McGehee give us something that we won't complain about.
