This should tell you all you need to know. Lineup protection is irrelevant. I don't think that was LFOs point. If Prince was hitting in front of Braun, Braun would probably have a few more RBIs and walks and less runs. The opposite would be true for Prince. These stats all factor into the voting for MVP. -
Knowing RR, I bet he'll get one tonight to a nice ovation.

Betancourt did have a reputation early in his career as being a good defensive player.

Or maybe he was a little nervous and answering the same generic questions over again is probably tiresome. Remember that interview Sheets did after he first got drafted? He turned out to be an alright pitcher.

Hit and run, stealing bases, aggressive running. Just don't do it with guys like McGehee.

In theory, Morgan's early inning bunt attempts are good idea when there is a runner on first because the infield is not expecting it. But I think that the infield usually plays in for Morgan and that takes away the chance of the bunt going for a bunt hit. I think he's better off taking some pitches or swinging for a hit.

I reserved Mass Effect 3 back when it had a November release date, but then it got pushed back to March. I'm disappointed, but in the long run I always want more polish in the game. I love the Fallout series, but it gets to be super buggy. I wish more companies would hold back releases to work out problems.

Skyrim will probably be my single purchase this winter unless something unexpected grabs my attention. Skyrim is all you really need.

Corey has a big fear of the wall. I don't want him getting injured, especially in an 8-2 game against the Pirates, but he needs to make a decision to stop and play the ball off the wall rather than awkwardly crashing into it while the ball sails over his head.

I tend to think rankings are pretty pointless. That said, I sat down and ranked all the MLB teams on espn.com in the fan poll, putting the Brewers #1 and all the other competing teams at the bottom. I clicked submit and to my surprise the Brewers were ranked #1 overall in the fan vote. I guess I'm not the only Brewer fan with too much time on his hands.

I can't believe this run right now. The Phillies seemed uncatchable just a week ago, but now it doesn't seem outside of the realm of possibility to get close to their record and the #1 seed. It would be an amazing feat, but now a real possibility. When does game 2 start?

Go back and read this thread from start to finish, it's pretty funny how quickly people abandoned the Brewer's hopes of winning after they start losing by 1 run!

We should be allowed to watch any game at any time, imo. I was really looking forward to this game, but Fox is making sure I don't get to watch it. Oh well, I guess it's a good excuse to listen to Uecker.

Looked like the pitcher might have been talking some smack or something as Prince ran to first or after he turned to jog back once he was out. I would love to know what was said.As Prince was running to first he was cursing at himself. The pitcher responded with a subtle return insult thinking that Prince was talking to him. Prince got defensive about it and felt the need to run up to the pitcher and tell him that he was actually cursing at himself. You could see on the Met's replay Prince saying, "I was talking to myself".

That right center wall is crazy. I was afraid for Coreys life for a minute, I'm glad he didn't lay out in this 6 run lead.
