  1. Mark Kotsay Feel free to use that as your signature. At least this game has been entertaining.
  2. I would hate you Yuni, if you hadn't hit that HR earlier.
  3. Run expectancy for runners on 1st and 2nd with 0 outs = 1.476.
  4. What's up now TLR? How's that beanball working out for you so far?
  5. Braun's not hurt and the leadoff runner is on. I'll take it.
  6. Nice DP. This could be huge to get out of this with a tie ballgame.
  7. And an easy call double switch. Put Lopez in at 2B in the 9 hole and Saito to 8th. Saito finishes 6th and gets the 7th.I don't think Saito is allowed to pitch more than 1 inning at a time. Not kidding.
  8. Cheat how? How do they explain how the Brewers pitching is so much better at home this year?
  9. .....because he swings at every pitch? He's probably confused.
  10. This is just about as excited as I've been during a Brewers game this season! Go Plush!
  11. There is something about Adam Kennedy that makes me think he is the type of player that Melvin would acquire in a trade. I could see this happening. Personally, I like Bill Hall as short term replacement for Weeks. He can be signed at league minimum and won't cost us a prospect. He hit 16 HRs last year and hit well against RHP as well, plus he plays a decent 2B and can be shifted around. Hall plus a trade for Furcal would help us out a lot. The main thing with Weeks is that he recover quickly and at the very worst be ready come playoff time.
  12. This show is pretty good, but pales in comparison to Louie. I can't help but think of Brian on Family Guy when I watch the show. The idea isn't completely original, but there are usually a few good belly laughs in each episode.
  13. This isn't a huge surprise, but a tragic loss non the less. I hope it helps bring some more attention to addiction and the harm it causes. Nobody deserves to die that young.
  14. Check out Sam Fuld's 323' homerun at Fenway. It looks like a line drive foul ball off the bat.
  15. My story is pretty much the same as yours. If you read my previous post, you know I've tried and failed to quit several times. PM me if you want to make this more interesting. My latest attempt has already begun as of July 11th. It's only been 12 years of smoking for me, so you might be at a different stage than I am, but I completely understand not being fully motivated to quit. I'm quitting (cold turkey) this time around just because it seems like the older I get, the more my friends, family and coworkers get on my case about quitting. I'm doing cold turkey, because that seems to work the best for me in the past. It's a pain in the ass so far.
  16. He's going to end up in the AL for this very reason. Without a DH position available for Prince, I can't envision an NL team offering up as much $$. He's seems to be especially bad this year.
