So I’m guessing we want the Dodgers to lose at this point. For one to keep the Cardinals close and two so they have to pitch Kershaw and Buehler this weekend.

Starting to think the Rockies and Cardinals will never lose again. This week could end in typical Brewer heartbreak. -
Four pages in already and we're still four hours from game time. Must be a big game or something.

Was Flaherty a highly regarded prospect coming up or did he come out of nowhere like a lot of Cardinals seem to do?

There’s a million guys down in that bullpen to choose from and they go with Dan Jennings?

Cards win. Cubs and Rockies both winning. Brewers offense looking lost again. Not a great night so far.

So is the magic # to clinch a playoff spot 5 or 6? I’m confused.

I think we want LA to win at this point and I feel pretty good about their chances tonight against the Rockies with Walker Buehler going. Another Rockies loss and our magic # goes down another game at the minimum.

Yeah hopefully we can create some breathing room between us and the Cards before Monday. That series worries me. Cardinals play the Giants at home this weekend so they'll probably take at least 2 of 3. Brewers just need to find a way to beat the darn Pirates. Oh, and winning tonight's game would help too.

We need to win tonight. Couple that with a Rockies loss and we’re 4.5 up with 9 games left. I would be feeling pretty comfortable at that point.

So this is basically a bullpen day for the Reds unless Lorenzen is extremely efficient early on. If Anderson keeps the ball in the ballpark then I like our chances.

I’m with those who say these last 6 with the Pirates are scary. They have been a thorn in our side all year. They aren’t really playing for anything at this point but I’m sure they’re not gonna just go out there and lay down for us. Hoping the bats really come alive this weekend.

A win today for the Brewers and another loss by the Dodgers and I’m feeling really good about clinching a playoff spot. They would be 5.5 up with 15 to go.

The weather forecast in DC looks awful so hopefully their game gets delayed and the Cubs get back to Chicago extra late tonight.

What a disaster for St Louis - losing back to back walk-offs to Detroit. I absolutely love it.

This is what happens when your offense can’t score more than 3 or 4 runs on a consistent basis.

Didn't even realize Posey is out for the season and of course McCutchen was traded earlier so this is a Giants offense that is not very good. Should be able to take at least 2 of 3 and make it 6 series victories in a row.

Woodruff has to get Guerra's spot in the rotation, right? At least for one start I would hope.

I'm not gonna say that Soria sucks but he has definitely been less than impressive since he got here. I just don't feel 100% confident anytime he comes into a game. This entire bullpen is springing leaks though.

Yeah this is a big game because then you’re facing Strasburg and Sherzer. Washington might be just .500 but they still have some really good players even after trading away a couple guys. Going to be a tough series.
