  1. Oh just settle down. It doesn’t look promising because based on the report it doesn’t look like teams are willing to give up what the Brewers are and should be asking for. But who really knows what these national media guys know.
  2. Well that doesn’t sound too promising. What does a reasonable offer from the Yankees look like?
  3. Source confirms: Rendon and #Angels in agreement on seven-year, $245M contract. First: @JonHeyman
  4. Looks like the Angels are getting Rendon.
  5. I like it. Very low cost. Now go get Ryu or Keuchel to round out the rotation and I’m a happy camper.
  6. Imagine if the Dodgers go out and get Rendon and Lindor this offseason. Holy smokes. Was really hoping to somehow get Lux in a Hader trade but if you’re the Dodgers you’re obviously going with Lindor over a reliever.
  7. Wouldn’t mind taking a chance on Walker or Teheran at all. What is Walker’s injury history? I see he hasn’t pitched much at all the last two seasons.
  8. Yeah I would have no issue playing Urias at 3b and Didi at SS.
  9. I really like Dustin May but those other guys don't excite me much. I think it's just too light for Hader. I think a fair trade with the Dodgers would include Lux and Josiah Gray.
  10. This contract makes me feel like we have absolutely no chance in free agency. Kinda depressing.
  11. Holy crap! How much will Cole get? 300 million?
  12. Yeah it would be fun to acquire him but that is just not a Stearns-type trade at all. That potential line-up would be sick though!
  13. I would be all over that Dodgers proposal in a heartbeat. I still think the Dodgers are the best fit for a Hader trade but don't see the Dodgers trading their premium prospects.
  14. Yeah pretty much sums it up for me. Would feel more comfortable signing Ryu or Keuchel.
  15. I thought it was more like 65-70 million right now?
  16. Who knows if Rendon would even want to play in Milwaukee but if we gave him 30-35 million per year we’d still have roughly 30 million to spend on pitching upgrades and still be at a comfortable payroll. And then Braun comes off the books next year.
  17. I agree. Seems like Stearns and Mark A are gonna have to offer some multi year deals this time around if they want to get any worthwhile free agents.
  18. Pretty much what we thought- we keep Hader unless it’s an absolute massive overpay for him.
  19. It would strictly be a salary dump I would imagine. Don’t think you’re getting much back for Cain at this point.
  20. Just imagine a lineup of Cain-Yelich-Rendon-Hiura. That would be sick.
  21. Unless you enjoy watching this team play in the Pinstripes Bowl or the Fruity Pebbles Bowl every year, I just don't see the point. They're fun to watch the first few weeks of the season and then they find a way to crap the bed. Thank goodness for the NBA and NFL.
  22. One bad loss and your playoff chances are shot. That’s just the nature of how college football works. Especially for Wisconsin who does not have much room for error against the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Ohio St, etc. What an awful, awful loss today.
  23. Why do I waste my freakin time with these guys year after year?
  24. The offensive line stinks today. Still not over.
