  1. Greinke for Kevin Mench and Laynce Nix.
  2. 7 walks for Nelson? That's just pitiful.
  3. Maybe it's the fact that he's 24 yrs old, but I still feel like Burgos is flying under the radar a bit. He's put up some pretty good numbers since his promotion to Huntsville. 48.1 IP, 2.42 ERA, 49 SO, 19 walks.
  4. Tyler Thornburg time? Reason I say Thornburg is because I'm not sure who else would go tomorrow night. I believe Peralta just pitched last night as did Estrada. Thornburg hasn't pitched since June 9th.
  5. What a magical season it was for Nyjer last year, but with his struggles this year and the team not doing so hot, is it time to just trade him and let one of the young outfielders in Nashville get some starts in the big leagues, particularly Logan Schafer or Caleb Gindl? Schafer has been red-hot lately and I'd like to finally see what he can do in the majors. I wouldn't mind seeing Schafer in CF, Aoki in right and Hart at first on a consistent basis.
  6. Looks like Jimmy Nelson is actually going for BC tonight. He got out of a first inning jam.
  7. What time does the draft start?
  8. 1. Tyler Thornburg 2. Jimmy Nelson 3. Wily Peralta 4. Taylor Jungmann 5. Jed Bradley
  9. With Peralta's recent struggles, would anybody else put Thornburg and Nelson at #1 and 2 in the Power 50? Maybe something like: 1. Thornburg 2. Nelson 3. Peralta 4. Jungmann 5. Bradley
  10. Thornburg won't be called up until 2016 because Melvin doesn't want to call up the youngster and risk hurting his confidence.
  11. Nelson just pitched a complete game, 2 ER, 5 K's and a 10:3 GO to flyout ratio. And he's probably going to take the loss thanks to Brevard's inept offense.
  12. Yeah, I think it's time for Burgos to get bumped up to Huntsville. He turns 25 in August and pitched in BC all last year.
  13. Haven't seen this posted anywhere. http://espn.go.com/espn/o...rformance-enhancing-drug
  14. I don't know how anybody could blame one guy in particular. The entire offense has taken a royal crap, including Braun and Fielder.
  15. That was a terrible pitch by Yo to Howard, but this is more about the offense taking an absolute crap yet again.
  16. Can this team beat good teams? That's what I'm worried about. We did a good job beating up on Houston, Chicago, and Pittsburgh this year, but can we compete against the best of the best? It sure doesn't look like it.
  17. It's been fun playing the likes of Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Houston for the past month and a half, but this team is gonna have to start playing better baseball against good teams (obviously).
  18. The way we're playing right now, Arizona is gonna pass us and not look back.
  19. Should I even bother watching the rest of this game?
