  1. Well this one's over. Time to watch the Packers.
  2. Carpenter apparently admitted to saying something first during an interview with MLB network.
  3. I can't wait until we're done playing the Cardinals this year.
  4. I wonder if we could afford to give Prince around $22 million per year and then sign either Marcum or Greinke to an extension? Trade Gamel/Wolf for a shortstop to free up some payroll and have Peralta/Fiers compete for the fifth spot in the rotation during spring training. I was on the bandwagon that there would be a 100% chance that Prince would be leaving and getting the draft picks would be sufficient, but I really want the big guy to stay and hope the the organization makes a reasonable effort to sign him.
  5. Yeah, two runs should be more than enough when you're facing Lucas freaking Harrell.
  6. The Cards offense is on a roll right now. I will be shocked if the Reds win that game.
  7. They didn't play Gamel last September at all and they weren't even remotely close to being in a playoff race. I guess there's no way Green's going to play much with them actually being right in the middle of a pennant race.
  8. Well I thought for sure Green would get the start today, but this organization seems dead set on calling up their top prospects and letting them rot on the bench.
  9. Well that was a pathetically managed 9th inning. Where is Taylor Green? Did we call him up just to cheer-lead on the bench? And if RR was so intent on bunting, I would have sent Counsell up there to try and bunt one up the 3rd base line, not flipping Betancourt.
  10. On paper, we should win this game rather easily. Hopefully we can give K-Rod and Axford the day off.
  11. Who's speculating? I haven't heard anything.
  12. We have three pretty dang good pitching prospects in Fiers, Peralta, and Thornburg.
  13. It seems as if the offense has been pretty putrid at home lately.
  14. Thank you Los Angeles. Four outs away from being 10 games up. Wow.
  15. Casey with the homerun tonight, but two awful at-bats afterwards. It could easily be about 12-2 right now.
  16. Given the pitching match-up, if we win this game, then we may never lose another game the rest of the way.
  17. I'm guessing they'll both debut in Wisconsin next year.
  18. Just reported on the WSSP postgame show. Narveson sliced his pitching hand trying to fix his glove. He will miss his next start. Please no Marco Estrada. Please.
  19. I haven't been this nervous about an upcoming series in three years.
  20. Was Roenicke drunk when he wrote up this line-up? Unbelievable. It's a good thing we're playing the Astros.
  21. Logan Schafer has been on an absolute tear since his promotion to Nashville.
