    I'd like to see Casey in the 5-hole and Gamel in the 2-hole on an almost daily basis with Counsell giving them days off once or twice a week.

    Peralta is quickly becoming one of my favorite pitching prospects besides Braddock. He now has 77 strikeouts and 17 walks in about 60 innings. He's allowed just one homerun as well. Edit: Ahh, beat me to it trwi7.

    Unbelievable. I don't even know what to say.

    Nashville wins 8-3 in 15 innings. Maldonaldo, Escobar, Salome, and Iribarren with RBI hits in the top of the 15th. Salome and Escobar went a combined 7 for 14 with 2 doubles, a homerun, and 3 RBI's. When does the first half for AAA come to an end? Nashville has to be close to clinching.

    I apologize if this has already been discussed at some point, but why hasn't R. Mercedes started any games this year? I see he started 13 games last year in WV. Is he going to be used strictly as a reliever for now on?

    So where are the promotions? I figured once Huntsville and BC clinched that we would see some guys bumped up. Am I being too impatient here (they both just recently clinched)? What's the hold up?

    A 40:4 strikeout to walk ratio in just over 24 innings of work for Braddock is insanity.

    Jeffress continues to be wild. 3 walks, a HBP, and a wild pitch through four innings.

    And with the Twins coming to town, we're gonna have to average about 10 runs per game to have any chance.

    Bourgeois continues to have an incredible June. He is 21 for his last 49 with 10 RBI's. I see he was a second round draft pick in 2000. He's put up fairly good numbers throughout his minor league career. I wonder how many opportunities he's had at the major league level? I also wonder how good of a centerfielder he is.

    I'm sure this has already been said, but man is our starting pitching terrible right now. Our bullpen is going to be shot by the all-star break if things continue the way they are.
