  1. Yeah, it's wierd seeing so many empty seats. Are the Friday through Sunday games sold out?
  2. Me too. I can't imagine what it will be like about two weeks from now. I can't even handle these close games now. It will be fun, but extremely nerve-racking.
  3. Our magic number keeps dropping and we just got swept. Nice.
  4. Jeff Suppan (10-7, 4.49 ERA, 56 BB/77 SO) http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/1664/capt13ece99f80e64856b2ffm0.jpg Previous Starts: DATE OPP RESULT IP H R ER HR BB SO GB FB TBF #Pit Dec. Rel. 5. Anybody think Gamel will get a start at 3rd base anytime soon against a righty?
  6. My goat: Dale Sveum. For sending Hardy, who is not much faster than my grandma, home with just one out and the bases loaded. What an idiot.
  7. I'm gonna panic a little bit because we are the Brewers and haven't made the playoffs in 26 years. As a fan, I want the Crew to make the playoffs so bad that every loss really sucks at this point in the season. Maybe I shouldn't panic because we still have games against San Diego, Cinci, and Pittsburgh. But every loss sucks that much more here in September.
  8. Dave Bush (9-9, 4.12 ERA, 35 BB/94 SO) Versus Oliver Perez (9-7, 3.90 ERA, 84 BB/146 SO) Please win Brewers.
  9. Little league mistakes cost us the game as usual. Prince is worthless and couldn't come up with a clutch hit to save his life right now. And so the September collapse begins...
  10. Hopefully the ump's strikezone suddenly expands for us too here.
  11. Dear Brewers: Please take note. Do as the Mets did there. Hit ball into right field with runner on 3rd and less than two outs instead of striking out or popping up to 2nd base.
  12. The Mets have a terrible bullpen? We sure are making them looking pretty good so far.
  13. Yeah, we're making the Mets bullpen look pretty decent this series. It has to stop now.
  14. Apparently Yost has given up on the season already and we're 5 games up in the wildcard.
  15. Corey Hart up with the bases loaded...What happens?
  16. 3-4-5 haven't been good tonight with runners on base. Let's change that right now.
  17. JJ! 1 run game just like that!
  18. If teams were smart, they would just call up their rookie pitchers from their minor league teams to make their ML debuts against the Brewers every game. But seriously, it might work.
  19. Whoever had that 10-3 Mets prediction is gonna be pretty close. This is ugly so far.
  20. Most of the team's plate discipline is horrid. And now the Mets are threatening. Just great.
  21. Couldn't have said it any better myself hawing. That's a perfect way to describe those three guys. How sad/surprising is it that I would feel more comfortable at this point with Mota in there rather than Gagne or Riske in a tight game? Doesn't say much for our bullpen.
  22. David Riske can just go right on back to KC for all I care. He just plain sucks. Oh yeah, he can take Gagne with him.
  23. Manny Parra (10-6, 4.00 ERA, 67 BB/127 SO) http://assets.espn.go.com/photo/2008/0324/fantasy_a_parra_300.jpg Previous Starts: DATE OPP RESULT IP H R ER HR BB SO GB FB TBF #Pit Dec. Rel.
