    The Huntsville Stars continue to mash even without Matt LaPorta. Just thinking of Gamel, Salome, Escobar, Jeffress, etc. someday in a Brewers uniform makes me salivate.

    It just seems like we find every way possible to lose games. Whether it's crappy defense, terrible offense against crappy pitchers, bullpen meltdowns, etc. We just have a knack for giving away games. It's getting old. Playoff contenders do not give away games like the Brewers do.

    Reliever Kevin Hart called up by the Cubs, Michael Wuertz sent down. **Okay, maybe not as funny or believable as the Mass post about Braun, but oh well.**

    It would be nice if we could have a repeat of yesterday. The Cubs game will probably be on WGN, so maybe I'll check it out for awhile.

    Kinda glad there's no TV today. I need a break from these guys today. It's been nothing but Brewers mania for me since late last week when the C.C. trade talks started heating up. Ahh heck, who am I kidding? I'll probably still listen to the game.

    It pisses me off that we always have so much trouble with Colorado. Especially a year where they have struggled so much. It also pisses me off that we have absolutely no patience at the plate. And the bullpen...I won't even go there. What good is it to have two aces in your starting rotation only to have a dreadful bullpen and painfully inconsistent offense? Thank you.

    Doesn't do us much good to have two aces in the rotation if we continue to show terrible plate discipline and not score runs.

    Why am I worried about this game? Oh yeah, because the Brewers are facing a really bad pitcher.

    I've always noticed it too and just thought it was a habit. Either that or he's been a heavy chain smoker since he was 8 years old.

    I agree with everybody around here. Even though it's not going to happen, Suppan needs to "get hurt" or go into the bullpen. The guy hasn't proved anything since he got here. And now we are making a serious run at the playoffs. We can't afford to keep sending that guy out there.

    The Huntsville game starts at 5:05 today. It'll be interesting to see if LaPorta is in the line-up if we haven't heard anything go down yet.
