    Not a fan of playing the Nationals.

    Looking more and more like we won’t be playing the Cubs or Phillies in round 1. The Cubs could continue to lose and slide down the wildcard standings I suppose but it’s looking like it’ll be Arizona, San Francisco, Miami or Cincinnati. Those 4 teams are all bunched up together and are fighting for that last wildcard spot.

    Mark A putting the team up for sale? Edit: Extremely unlikely they would announce something like this during the season as it would cause quite the distraction so probably nothing this extreme.

    The Shuckers will need to win the final three games of the series to overtake Montgomery and advance to the playoffs.

    Yeah Wiemer may very well go 0-4 with 4 strikeouts and do it in a very efficient manner.

    What a sweet disaster for the Cubs. Scored three early runs and then proceeded to give up 7 unanswered runs. They really should have been swept.

    Yeah he looks completely lost even against lefties now. If Canha is out an extended period of time, how about we get nuts and call up Chourio for the remainder of the regular season.

    Crowds have been light these first two games. Hopefully we can get more folks in the stands considering we’re in a pennant race here. I just watched highlights from the Phillies/Braves game last night and Citizens Bank Park was pretty packed.

    So the Shuckers need to win at least 4 of the 6 games to clinch a playoff berth. I’m feeling pretty confident!

    Before anyone asks about Chourio, Crow-Armstrong is two years older, was promoted to AAA over a month ago and has been playing quite well there. Was just never in the cards for Chourio to debut this year.

    Yeah and hasn't their been a couple of instances where he came in to pitch with big leads and they ended up having to get Payamps and/or Williams up? Dude can't even get the job done in mop-up duty.

    I really can’t fathom someone not seeing the field for three weeks when there’s no injury. No pinch hits. No defensive replacement. Really bizarre situation.

    Now would be a really good time for Chourio to get on one of his heaters, lead Biloxi past Montgomery and show us why he’s the 2nd ranked prospect in all of baseball.

    So I’m looking at the International League West standings and there is no first half winner marked. What am I missing? I see one for the East league (Norfolk) but not the West.

    I’m like 99.999% sure Josh Donaldson will be called up and Anderson will be DFA’d today. Makes way too much sense not to happen.

    Black is having a really nice week. Nice to see him turning things around.

    A total waste of a roster spot. If you call up Tyler Black, at least he could pinch run.
