  1. From what you have heard, Is Arnold's asking price just way too much? My fear is that the Brewers are being so unreasonable in their asking price, that teams are just not even trying at this point.
  2. We’re halfway through January with very little movement in free agency. You could have probably titled this “February Signings.” That said, I’d be looking at Hoskins or Santana. Don’t think they’ll be looking at pitching.
  3. The irritating part is they could trade us a couple of their higher-end prospects and still have the best system in all of baseball.
  4. Brewers spent roughly $35 million today on Burnes, Adames and Williams.
  5. Nothing on Payamps yet, unless I missed it.
  6. I’m guessing he’s DFA’d no later than the all star break.
  7. Everyone has signed for under the projected amount so far except for Milner.
  8. I’m guessing Burnes going to another hearing would make a trade even more complicated? I’m hoping they just settle this time around.
  9. Deadline is actually at noon today.
  10. I was hoping for a Burnes-Arraez trade last offseason with the Twins. Always thought he’d be perfect in our lineup but with only two years left of team control, not sure he makes a ton of sense at this point.
  11. MLB Trade Rumors estimate was $1.7 million for Milner.
  12. Fascinated to see if they reach an agreement this year with Burnes.
  13. This. If we are even remotely in the playoff hunt which is extremely likely, then Burnes is going nowhere at the deadline. They’re not going to pull another Hader trade.
  14. This was proposed on MLB Network. Two top 100 prospects included.
  15. Agree on Hoskins. In 2025 when Burnes and Adames are off the books, that $18 million won’t break the bank. Might stretch the budget a bit this year but certainly not in 2025.
  16. Yeah I think Imanaga is the last FA posting. I think it’s fairly typical not to hear arb numbers until deadline day.
  17. I feel like we’ve been saying that all offseason though. First we were waiting for Ohtani to sign and then we thought things would heat up. Then it was Yamamoto. Then it was after the holidays. It’s January 9 and still not much has happened. We’ll probably end up with a flurry of activity right before Spring Training starts.
  18. Probably the hit tool because a prospect can always develop power later on as they get older and stronger.
  19. I agree with the premise but I think it has more to do with Mark A and company wanting to compete in general. I think they’ve decided to make one last run in 2024 before hitting the reset button next season.
  20. Finally some movement in free agency although it's the Dodgers again...
  21. Signing Cain and trading for Yelich is easily the greatest day in Brewers offseason history. I’ll never forget that day.
  22. I absolutely love that both Quintana and Made are switch-hitters. Excited to follow these guys in the future.
