    My personal inclination has always been that DM is trying as hard as he can to trade for a legitimate SS or 3B right now. If for some reason he can't get someone by the 7/31 trading deadline they will probably at least consider bringing up Green. Right now I think their view is that they don't want to bring him up and throw him to the wolves unless they absolutely have to. I also have to imagine he is a lock to be a September call up. Of course we could make a pretty good argument that they have to bring up Green now.

    Gotta give Colmenter credit though; he has been very sharp. Sometimes you run into a good pitcher and have to tip you cap. And when the Brewers face a guy like this w/o Braun it is just that much harder to much a rally together

    The Brewers could lose the next 10 games and I still wouldn't want them to sell. The division is so mediocre this year that 85 or 86 wins could win it. If we sold and ended up maybe 3-4 games out of first with around 80 wins how pissed do you think the fan base would be. Ticket sales would probably drop under 2.5 million next year and then the payroll has to drop to 70-75 Million.

    I am fine with it; its only two games but Weeks has done pretty well in the 5 hole. In two games he basically matched the power production of McGehee & Hart for about the last month. Weeks will probably have to move down in the order next year anyways; might as well get him used to be in a "Run Producing" spot.
