RR has been about as good as possible in his bullpen management. However please stop having guys like Overbay, Davis, and Maldy try to bunt; they are just horrible. Gotta give RR credit; not only keeping their heads above water through these injuries but actually winning game against good teams. The Brewers have 1 road loss the entire month; crazy. -
This is getting ridiculous. How we managed to win with that lineup is remarkable. Bullpen with another 5 innings with only one run. This isn't going to last forever but man I am loving this team so far. Overbay has really gotten hot recently; and those bunt attempts were just atrocious. Should probably not try bunting with guys that simply don't bunt. That being said he seems like everything RR touches turns to gold right now. Of course his job is pretty easy when every guy he throws out there in the bullpen is basically awesome

Whoever just said we are 20-8 needs to be temporarily banned. A huge jinx. Sooner or later the bullpen is going to blow a game. Even if we don't hold on this game has been a success and a pleasure to watch.

At least they made some solid contact that inning. Herrera hit that ball pretty solid but the CF was shaded towards left. Gomez also just missed it

I still think that is better than the early 2000's. Some of those teams you knew had no chance; at least here we have some guys with power and some capability. Just try to scratch out a couple runs and hope for the best. I am very happy we won last night because everyone knew this lineup was coming. No team can throw a good line up when 4 of your top 5 players aren't in there. That is a lot of speed at the top which I suppose is nice.

The Grienke trade doesn't look nearly as good right now as it did last year. Hellweg is under the knife, Pena isn't throwing strikes, and Segura has regressed pretty badly so far in 2014.

Well if they haven't made a move yet they aren't going to make one before the game. I am guessing at least one of Segura, Braun, and Ramirez is at least available to pinch hit. Weeks and Maldonado are the bench. I am sure Gallardo would be the first pitcher called upon to hit if need be. Hell he might be the best pinch hitting option available period.

The Cards lineup does seem rather uninspiring outside of Holiday, Adams, and Molina. That being said they don't need much of an offense considering how good their pitching is.

Great win. Krod hasn't given us a heartattack inducing save yet this year so I suppose he was over due. The bullpen has just been ridiculous.

This would be a great win. You gotta think DM has to make a roster move after this one though. You can't have basically a 2 man bench.

No that was inexperience. He should have known not to go for that and just get to the bag. I wouldn't call it dumb; he just isn't used to being out there. Didn't cost us and maybe he can get a hit coming up

Having a wasted roster spot on Wang has been highlighted the last couple days. If Aram can't play tomorrow someone has to go on the DL.

All tied up; Ill take it. Hopefully that wasn't the highlight of the evening for this crappy lineup. Lucroy sure hasn't looked good lately either Would have been nice to have Schafer to pinch hit for Davis in that situation

That changeup is just ridiculous. I just knew Davis was going to get overmatched there. Still only down one; so still some hope

They will come down to earth and probably go through at least one bad stretch. But they keep it together and remain in the hunt and possibly still lead the division 15-13 -
Yikes I didn't realize it was that bad. If we win tonight then we know it is our year and we all might as well buy playoff tickets.

I will be surprised if that lineup can put up more than 3 runs against Wacha and the bullpen. Gallardo better have a good game tonight; if memory serves me correctly doesn't he usually get lit up by STL?
