    I read the whole IGT. you pushed it, pushed it and then went right over. You deserved to be banned from the IGT. B19 was right on.

    well, I agree with BTA, if you say "game over" without the game actually being over, you shouldn't post in the IGT anymore that day, IMO.

    is this whole thing supposed to be in blue? The Cards don't have near the talet the Crew does. Its not even close. Sure Larussa has a veteran ball club. They are OLD. Rolen and Edmonds aren't nearly the players they once were. Their only real player right now is Pujols. I believe the Crew has enough talet to win 87-90 and would have with a manager that wasn't brain dead. Nobody is going to jump ship if Yost gets an extension because we are all Brewers fans first. However, you'll be one of few that would be happy with that decision.

    I'm going to preface this be saying, I know going off of wins alone is not a good way to tell how good a pitcher is doing. I know this. Now that being said, its a little funny that Sheets is probably having a down year for his standards, yet he has tied his career high in wins with a good shot of beating that. go figure right. The other year he has 12 wins was in 2004. He should have won 20 games that year.

    and I just had another vent come up. this could go either here or the ESPN thread. Do they have to use the phrase "something brewin" every time the crew does well for a few games in row. They have used it about 10 times this year. Can't the ESPN guys come up with something else?

    I was at the bar watching the sports ticker on espn. I knew the Brewers had won, and was waiting for the cubs score. We were all giving a Cubs fan crap because we figured they lost. OOOOOPS. Stupid Cubs, and stupid Jason and friends for jinxing the game

    I did too. I really liked Sutton. I think Anderson is very boring at times and his "wont carry" call really annoys the crap out of me. However, I like BA more now than at the begining of the year. Its his first year in the bigs, I think he'll get better from here on out.

    but Yost's reason for every move is valid as well. you mean like saying he is going to bring in a different pitcher because he fields his position better? yeah, real valid

    I agree 100% If you're late and you hurt the team, you can sit.

    I'm not sure what your point is really. Its two totally different things. If he stayed out after a curfew or came to a game hung over and it really hurt the team, damn right Id bench him. Trying to take an extra base where the manager gave him a green light is hardly worth benching over. Especially when its the managers fault.

    I guess you could go that way. However, Ned didn't like the showboating and didn't sit him after that. Plus I don't think you can sit one of your best players because he tried to steal a base. So only Ned knows what really happened. I just think that he called for a double steal, it didn't work, now he is deflecting blame. Thats just my opinion though

    If that's the case, the situation should be blamed on poor communication or mishandled signs rather than a poor decision and if thats the case, that simply can't happen. I seriously can't stand Yost. If anything, take blame off your rookie and deflect it on yourself. Take the easy way out, and blame the rookie.

    Did Braun, a rookie, give himself the greenlight to steal? Whose in charge of this team anyway? And, like jason21nl pointed out, Hart went at the exact same time. It sure seemed like something was in the works and failed, but I digress... I'm not sure what Yost would gain from blaming one of his rookie players. I'm not trying to defend Yost, but it is a possibility that Braun did go on his own, and I think Hart is a smart enough baserunner to watch Braun in front of him take off. the trail runner isn't watching the front runner. There is no way hart is paying attention to what Braun is doing on base. They both went at the same exact time. If Braun was going on his own, Hart would have been a good second or two behind him. I have no idea why Ned would deflect blame, but thats what Ned does.

    In other words, it was Braun's decision to steal, not Yost's. So I guess the only questionable call on Yost's end from the other night was leaving Jenkin Well I'm calling bull crap on Yost. If it was a straight Braun steal, there is no way Hart is going at the same exact time.
