  1. I think what he wrote was tongue in cheek, sarcastic and should have been in blue. At least I'm pretty sure it was. Because I don't in anyway think he would want jenkins batting in that situation.
  2. good call on the double steal ned. with jenks up vs a lefty....plain stupid
  3. if i got something back in the mail i would be very happy. I'll admit though, if it was smudged it would be disappointed. I have a weeks and bill hall autographed picture, the blue sharpie that weeks used was dying. It looks like crap, I was disappointed with that.
  4. He has pitched well, right. However he hasn't earned it or played enough in the MLB for me to trust him right now. I will trust my guy that has been here all year and has pitched very very well. Shouse did just get back, he was well rested and was avail to pitch since well, he pitched tonight. I'm not blaming Yost for this loss. Sheets pitched like crap, the hitters didn't hit. My thing is, you pitch shouse there to keep the score where its at, giving your team a chance to win. coming back from 2 is going to be hard enough, 3 is almost impossible. Now I'm not going to say, see, rivera hit a 2 run shot and the game would be tied. thats big time hindsight. Nobody knew that was going to happen. But a rally could have happened. Shouse is the best option there, not a guy who has only been up for a month or so
  5. i don't blame stetter, i blame yost for putting him in. Especially when our best guy all year in shouse is waiting to come in

  7. i saw that video....question...thats a dude?
  8. i didn't watch any of the Astros game. I'll say one thing though, I'm not letting Jenkins face a left handed pitcher, I would have PH with Estrada who is the slowest man on earth before I let Jenkins hit vs a lefty match up. From what you said, he played the match up and it didn't work. He still seemed to have given his team the best chance to win. Yost still hasn't learned how to do that
  9. Actually, that's well put - in that, it illustrates that no matter what happens, if the Brewers lose, Yost somehow mishandled the bullpen in the minds of many here. and yet some how no matter how bad yost mishandles the bulpen, there are some here that still think Yost can do no wrong.
  10. Didn't Shawn Green do the same thing a few years back? green did sit out a very important game once because of that. I have no problem with a player leaving to go to the birth of a child. It shouldn't even be an issue
  11. this guy continues to blow my mind how bad his in game decisions are. please get him the heck outta here
  12. clowns, snakes, spiders, ladders, bats, flying..can't stand any of those
  13. I can't remember what I was watching today (maybe PTI) but someone had a good point. With so many players "doing something wrong" does it make what Bonds has done more OK than if he were the only one to use anything bad? Since most players have done something wrong, the playing field was level and nobody had a huge advantage over the next person. Just asking
  14. it was and still is this man. I mean look at his eyes. DREAMY! http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j290/jason21nl/JJdreamy.jpg
  15. i'll give rick some props. His last couple games have been awesome. His power stroke is coming back and dude gets on base. His glove however has slipped some lately and we can't have that.
  16. yeah, thats the size i can find.
  17. i have looked all over for a large enough picture of it to blow up. I can only find the small one. It would be awesome to get blown up big to get signed
  18. another day, another chat goes down. good game too.
  19. getting thrown out at 3rd is never good. Getting thrown out at 3rd to end an inning is horrible
  20. there we go Gabe! little 1 out double, gotta knock him in braun
  21. looks like its going to be a wide zone today. 2 of the strikes called to weeks looked like balls to me
  22. I hate this chat. Its always down.
  23. yup, that it is. How can it always be down? I hope for a good road trip, but nothing points to a good one. The only feeling I get is Dunn, Griffey, and Phillips going yard many times. Man I hope I'm wrong.
  24. No, I didn't get my first autograph on it until this year. he is going to be a tough one to get! http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif
  25. i don't pay for autographs, but i think I might have to make an exception to that rule. Getting an autograph from a HOFer is pretty sweet. Just don't know what to get it on.. a ball or his bobblehead
