    How can you not expect some verbal abuse when the cubs come to town It's a baseball game, not Christmas at the in-laws. I don't know how you would change the atmosphere when rivals come to town. Stay sober, and remember there are kids, elderly and non-dipwads at the park

    I don't expect trouble in the sense that fans would be fist fighting, but rather some verbal abuse It takes 2 people to fight -- sticks and stones....

    People see a few bad ones and make generalizations. Please remember all it takes is one drunken f-bomb to ruin the ballpark experience for a family or even a section of fans. I just think it's funny that a few people would go to a rival game and not expect trouble. I think it's funny that some think that the competition is not limited to the field. I really think it is funny that some drunken cowboy thinks that fans should expect trouble when certain teams roll into town.

    I've been to two Brewer Cub games this year and the Brewer fans have been pretty obnoxious. If I had little kids, I'd avoid a Cubs game at Miller. I know I have -- In a large part the only difference between the Brewer fans and the Cub fans are the shirts they are wearing. I think both fan bases are virtually identical. What's wrong with that? They are in OUR ballpark. If they can't handle it, then don't show up to an opposing team's ballpark. I'd like to think that any fan from any team could come to MP and enjoy themselves.

    Just an update -- I ended up getting a Garmin Nuvi -- and we love it. I bought the one with the smaller screen, and I don't see the need for the larger screen. I would agree that the text-speech feature is very nice and almost necessary.

    It's tough, tough work. Someone has to eat all of those cows. Just about every weekend I am going to be on the road May-June, I am going to make it a point to find good hamburgers, and document it for future generations to use. I feel like once again my life has meaning.

    Thanks for putting pics in this thread BtA. You are king. We should do more research. I went to Fuddruckers this weekend in Janesville -- and I had the 1 lb. burger -- it was the best burger I had since I went to the Fuddrucker's in Brookfield.

    No way they bring up their top prospect to sit on the bench. At worst, he would be platooned with Hall. Right -- I don't like the idea of Gamel platooning with Hall either. If Braun is going to miss a lot of time, it probably is the blue screen of death for 2009. If that is, in fact the case I'd try to get Hall enough PT so he could be traded. I would think Hall's stock has risen a lot from last year.

    If Braun has to go on the DL do the Brewers bring up Gamel? If the Brewers knew Braun was going to miss serious time -- I'd probably hope they find an unemployed corner OF, before throwing Gamel into the lineup. Hall is playing a good 3b, I am not sure how Gamel helps us out here. If Braun misses a lot of time, it may be time to close the curtain on 2009, and I would rather see Gamel working on his D in AAA.

    Most toothbrushes contain trace amounts of feces. That's preferable than feces containing trace amounts of toothbrushes.

    I do think people were placing an over emphasis on the injury when he was hitting poorly to start the season. Why? -- Being hurt is a good reason as any for struggling.

    Do you honestly think Gallardo would take it at this point, though? He may --Look at that injury he suffered last year -- If Prince would have steamrolled his arm, he might have been done. Yo would only be 30 or so. He still could go get his 100 M contract if he pitched well.

    I sort of wonder what a swine flu brat would taste like -- I am thinking a bit more spicy.

    Castro has every bit the credentials that Mike Maddux had. He only lacks a HOF brother and a mustache. Plus -- I think Castro had as much if not more impact in Milw. while Maddux was here with the pitchers. It's not as if Castro's only job was to keep the sunflower seeds stocked in the BP. Castro 4 Life, baby.
